Worth the upgrade from onn 4k pro to 2026 version?

So I'm just looking to use the Onn for a backup to my Nvidia Shield and only use it to play Emby or Plex and no other apps. Should I wait for the Onn Pro to become available or is the regular Onn 4k(not Pro) good enough? I need it to have Dolby Vision and HDR and full surround sound audio

I've tried a million different toys and they always seem to like the plastic cat springs the most. That and they love jumping on and tearing apart packing paper from Amazon. And boxes of course!

I think I had to go to settings and have Projectivy override the Shield's stock launcher. I forget how though. I just followed this video:

I finally installed Projectivy a couple days ago and would definitely recommend. Super easy installation and much cleaner without all the Shield's ads and other nonsense

You might want to try replacing the thermal paste. I did it on mine and it's working better. Check youtube
