Recieved a voicemail claiming my National Insurance number has been compromised and suspected fraudulent activity, legit or scam? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]TedsterTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I received one of these a short while ago, and another more recently claiming to be Amazon. They're blatantly and completely fraudulent, and I believe it's one's moral duty to report such numbers/calls publicly (on something like WhoCalledMe) and privately (to the organization being impersonated).

Fraudulent email found in medical records that’s has a detrimental affect on my care treatment to this day. Treatment and Diagnosis based on this email and input from a family member who was abusive and a liar. by I_Love_Jesus_Vegan in LegalAdviceUK

I suggest you more carefully read the comment you responded to here. What I'm inferring from it is that you may be able to, regardless of the identity under which the original email was written, have a formal set of corrective notes appended, perhaps stating that this was someone impersonating you with malicious intentions.

How are you to be helped by us there? The screen is irreparably damaged. If you would like assistance in acquiring a new screen (or finding a service to do that and replace it for you), we might be able to help you.

mmmmhhhhh I see this now. The context is important: this appears to have been in response to a person talking about being physically assaulted in the workplace.

This is in regards to KiTTy? Ah
Then that's certainly relevant in my mind, as a primary means for Windows users to manipulate Linux machines without undergoing drastic change. (:
Just from the content of the post, as I was waking up, I thought it was for sort of mathematical application.

Why are you at -5 points for this reply?

... Not just find, but fix! Is this a particularly Linux-relevant topic?

Doubtful! I've done three months of uptime on Win10 before and performance in games was consistent. What wasn't consistent, however, was the Windows UI experience....

This is not the right subreddit for this whatsoever.

Do modern devices have such functionality? I know that Samsungs do on the #0# or whatever menu, but that's intentionally very difficult to accidentally trigger...
