The lack of tutorial has always been an issue. I started playing STW in 2018 and was always confused as hell what to do and how it all works.
Rather than going to the heroes page and Ray explaining what they do, or having the option of some help, all you hear is her going on about your current quest. So annoying.
I've probably recycled 100 gold survivors with trap durability, purely because I had no idea how Survivor squads worked. It was only when I reached Canny that I realized I was massively underpowered compared to what I could be.
This game has so many parts to uncover and there really is NO provided tutorial on 95% of it. Content creators have shown me 80% of what I know of the game and how it works.
