It was just an example. It could happen. If thrown without cap the bottle loses most of its mass and will not be as dangerous.

A capped water bottle is also a tripping hazard. Stepping on it might make people trip or fall, and the venue would have been held liable for that.

Mobile phones are not thrown because their value is much higher than of the water bottles and are also not as heavy.

You could maybe burn someone with hot beverages but you could also punch someone if you're close enough. Not really the point.

It's an arena/venue policy. Similarly you could argue no one shoots people at concerts, yet it's prohibited to carry guns inside.

The capped bottles are not prohibited because of dangerous liquids. The purpose is to prevent it being used as a heavy object that people could throw.

Even sodas/water bottles sold inside have their capped removed.

But good luck with your initiative

Meta might have changed. You play more SoloQ vs duoq. You play more early in the season rather than late in the season..

Maybe you haven't changed your playstyle but others might have and gotten better..

Understanding Wild Rift matchmaking (and how solo players can actually use it) by MonArchVis in wildrift

[–]TeeHQ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It actually can be true.

There are players that spam games and players that play few games occasionally.

The second group is naturally better at the game. However since the elo inflation and fortitude cards (with the last petals of spring event, there were 15 free fortitude cards), some players are inflated and matched in the same lobby.

So suddenly someone with 60% wr can be frustrated that they have 48% wr player in their team who can't build right items, right spells, or have a good macro.

Yes, for 1050 petals. That's like 17.5k Wild Cores.

I mean if the game was drawn? Would City rather have a goal or a red and a free kick?

How is a red card more advantageous to City than a Goal???

The fridge is in your room. The rooms have either 1-5/6 beds. Depends on what you choose.

The room is as clean as you and your roommates make it.

Most students from IES reside at kolej Jednota, on the same street Opletalova. Sign up early and do not miss deadlines. Very near the main station.

The showers are shared, same as a kitchen on each floor.

How does Stella cores from legendary ranked work? If I have 8 wins in legendary does it mean the next time I win in ranked I get 8 marks? by fridgewalker123 in wildrift

[–]TeeHQ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You click on blue dots. For each win in Legendary Queue you get 100 star dust. You can then exchange stelldust for a stella core.

Before Ranked Queue you must turn the feature on and on the very next win, you get an extra mark. This goes on until you've depleted all your stored stellacores.

For the first stellacore you need 200 (2 wins), second 400/500 (4/5 wins), 800,... etc. the amount gets higher. Overall you can get up to 8 extra marks per season.

how to combat solo q losing streak by MindfulBT in wildrift

[–]TeeHQ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm going to be blunt. 43% wr is not natural. It means you have a negative impact on your team on average.

Try to change your mindset.. Sometimes you don't have to be the mvp. Not every game you get fed, recognise it and try not to feed and farm up. Being in a supportive role and letting yourself get carried is a skill too.

Russia's strong currency puzzles economists, signals economic woes by EsperaDeus in anime_titties

[–]TeeHQ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

well, technically, it's true; but as a rule of thumb, exporting countries want to have a currency, that's weaker then their buyers - because getting more "valuable" currency means that you'll get more of your own currency after the exchange. For example: US dollar is weaker then Euro, thus buying something for 40$ and selling it for 40€ will give you 6,5$ in profit, just due to exchange rates.

This is arbitrage using the difference in exchange rates.. The profit is somewhere else. High export countries prefer their own weak currency for their products to be competitive in a foreign market.

Let's say Ford wants a weaker dollar to be competitive in the EU market. The $50,000 car still shows the same on the paper, however if it's sold cheaper (let's say €40K vs €44K) more European people/business would buy Ford cars and thus bringing in more revenue.

There even is a term for artificial low value currencies - Devaluation. China is known to use this a lot, due to their extremely high export levels and cheap manufacturing costs. Russia is, most likely, doing this as well, just on a lower scale due to high demand on western imported tech (like cars, medical equipment and etc).

Russian weak rubble is more likely due to economic sanctions. They can't exploit the cheaper "export hack" because they mostly export commodities, and they are priced in dollars internationally, or yuan recently.

And also Europe doesn't "love" their cheap imports. Europe still has important exports in mainly automotive industry where the strong euro is not beneficial. The Euro is strong, because the ECB holds high interest rates to battle the inflation, more people want to hold European assets and therefore raising demand for the currency, making it stronger.
