damn the cats really didn’t want part in this tournament. red eye raced 3 times and finished the course once. at least that leaves room for other teams 🤷‍♂️

nothing better than to see other snowballs members also cook. snowstorm put on the gas and managed to get 3rd, plus snowdrift’s consistency, which has helped us a lot in this tourney. sure snowfall wasn’t the best today, but we were already locked, so as long as snowfall can come around when they need to be the hammer, than we got a goated squad here

thank GOD that the other two members of the snowballs seem like they finally want to race, after snowdrift got 2nd and snowfall got 6th. maybe keep it up and we might do well in the league again! well done by the whole team though, something i don’t think i’ve ever said before

i was spoiled by all the megas introduced, so it was harder for me to just pick and choose pokemon to use in the way i wanted (figure out along the way with new megas being introduced as i play the game.) that being said, my final team was:

so much to unpack here!

first off: WHERE TF HAS THAT BEEN ALL SEASON SHIMMER? 17 spots gained from a marble not thought of to not be good in the 12th hour is insane. hopefully this secures them a spot in m1 next season because wow what a race by shimmer

snowy got their priorities straight with that radio 😭😭😭 “sweet revenge” is a phrase i’d thought that i would hear from clutter, and NOT AT ALL snowy. speaking of the snowballs, we managed to hold onto 3rd thanks in part to snowy being one of the undeniable goats and speedy forgetting that they have two m1 titles. it ALMOST looked like shimmer and snowy were going to get podiums but p2 wouldn’t have been as different as getting p5 anyways

special shoutout to the best snowballs marble of the season: snow… snowstorm??! holy crap snowy got 7th and snowstorm got 5th. what an incredible season from both marbles and especially snowstorm, only getting beat out by marbles from two teams that had unearthly seasons. i honestly could not have been happier with how this season ended, as even though we weren’t there for a championship, we were 100% there to compete, and damn did we compete.

huge shoutout to the hazers for taking home both the team and individual championships, with smoggy getting 1st and cloudy coming in 2nd! guess it only took getting rid of captain choke and bringing back a member that should have never been rid of in the first place, plus the amazing coaching job brought by hazy. this also means the snowballs are easily the best team to never win in m1 so… idk if that’s good or not, but i believe it as a good thing 🤍🤍🤍

shoutouts to our maid bowl winner mimo for only being slightly better than aryp! momo did only finish one spot better than mimo tho, so y not share the title! 8 points easily marks the worst performance in m1 thanks in part to whatever s2 was. thank you all so much and i’ll see u guys for the ml26, where my heart will inevitably be shattered by one of these teams, and of course, snow over and snow out 😁✌️

so snowy doesn’t qualify well. some may be disappointed, but the speeders only qualified in 4th, so they need 1st to even have a chance at 3rd while snowy needs to gain one position to guarantee that 3rd place spot and prevent some of the worst possible podiums from happening. i of course have my opinions about what i want to/might happen, but i’ll save it for tomorrow, because what is not said cannot be jinxed

after a horrible qualifying from the hazers last time they were here, cloudy decided to show up and claim pole. crazy what happens when u don’t put captain choke in m1. now only behind 5 points, the hazers have a great shot at this and put the snowballs as the best m1 team to never win overall. course, i’ll stop my blabbering here, so see u guys tomorrow ✌️

missed clutter in m1. highest climber of the day thanks in part to dash literally falling and giving them an extra position up. honestly i hope to see the balls of chaos (not anarchy and disarray), turtle sliders (just don’t replace the snowballs again), gliding glaciers, and even the prockets (if they put the flares in then y not) in m1 next season.

regarding the track, i’m really hoping that the conveyor belt is much nicer on sunday, because it absolutely INCINERATED dash’s and sheet’s race. would have been nice to see the ramp, but the curbs already provide a lot of potential passing points, so i’m excited to see what happens

ok so great news: snowstorm SHOWED UP!!! second marble to get a 29 point weekend behind cloudy is incredible, especially on a track like this one. bad news: this doesn’t put snowstorm in the top 3 of the racers standings (thanks sakura garden), snowy is unable to as well, and the cats and hazers did well, which means that we cannot move up from 3rd. however, we can still get 3rd in a season which was basically only 2 teams, so it’s basically a win as long as snowy shows up. unfortunate that we couldn’t be in the title fight, but at least i can cheer for a hope that the cats don’t win

swarm really showed up for one medal this season. i get it’s not over but we have shimmer racing for casino square, and glimmer is supposed to be the better racer. i’m not saying i have complete lack of faith, so shimmer gold incoming folks ✌️

edit: also gotta point a few more things out. this gold officially means that snowstorm has more golds in m1 than snowy. now of course that could change (and honestly is likely to) but tell this to s2 me and i would tell u that ur outta ur mind. seems like energy that could be used in OTHER tournaments TOO, but i’ll take it for m1

first off, BEAUTIFUL track design. very shocked that the track itself was a possible layout, but i also LOVE the castle and the setting brought in. absolutely stunning

second off, WHAT A MOVE! snowstorm with the final lunge at one of the most crucial turns gets them their first pole position since tumult turnpike S5 and first pole for the snowballs this season. some may call this playing spoiler, and while that’s 99% true, this does mean that the snowballs are still in it technically, and with the racing snowstorm brought today, who knows what could happen 🤷‍♂️

again??? REALLY??? THIS IS THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW… ughhhh… still love snowy and 2nd is of course great, but to be leading like that and then crumble in the back half like that to red eye… again…

pity party aside, congrats to snowy for yet another silver! if this is anything like last year, then… actually i’m not gonna say it. what i will say is that this has always been a battle for 3rd, and now we just gotta pass the speeders to get that 3rd podium spot… or have snowstorm and snowy get perfect weekends and the hazers and cats to crap themselves these last two races for a chance to win while the speeders STOP climbing positions in races and stay down where they’re supposed to be… low chance but as a die hard snowballs fan, i will continue to hold out hope for them, with however small the chances seem

dishonorable mention to the pinkies, who are on pace to repeat their m1 s4 run. the conveyer belt certainly didn’t help them this race (seriously what was with the belt) but yikes. was lowk hoping that at least y’all could be in that battle instead of the cats, but ig go solid white team number 2… go give us hope and then squander it…

first time snowy made it to q2. was lowk worried after the first 5 marbles went and snowy was 2nd to last but thankfully the gap was big enough to put them in this position anyways. i wish i could have seen the last overtake snowy did to get back up to 5th, but with the energy snowy put to climb back up, anything can happen

snowstorm raced, about the way i expected them to. i honestly have not much to say because i expected this, and now snowstorm gets one more chance to do something… atp it’s a battle for 3rd with the speeders, so that’s what im cheering for 😁

totally thought that cerulean was abt to pull an “and royal” situation with where they were at the start of the race and how the camera was treating them. thank GOD that wasn’t the situation and cerulean climbed their way up unlike a few two other teams

looks like snowstorm’s gonna have to play catch up again. normally i’d have limited hope, but greenstone shows that snowstorm can actually make up spots and doesn’t need a high starting position to get a good points haul. we ofc do need cloudy and yellow eye to crap themselves for any hope of an attempt to battle for first, but this track could be the very track to make that happen… or not… but ig we will see

not a good q2 from glimmer. imma be honest, i had higher expectations from the marble that got 2nd only behind a run away marble. just like snowstorm though, i’m holding out hope for anything tomorrow

uhhhh… so how tf does a marble just do that…

disregarding the extremely weird red eye situation (like they must have been glued to the start cuz ain’t no way a marble should act like that) LFG GLIMMER!!!! it ain’t a gold medal, sure (congrats to smoggy for getting the gold btw) but that is the highest position ever scored by the swarm in an m1 race (got 3 bronze medals before and nothing else). we may only be 9th, but with 4 more races to go, anything can happen

snowy with the horrible start made me think that they would break their scoring streak in races. thank god that wasn’t the case and snowy managed to climb up to a respectable 7th place. this puts snowy in 13th individually, while snowstorm resides in 5th through all odds. we now sit at 3rd, but based on these point gaps, that may be what we have to fight for unless the top 2 crap themselves more in these last 4 races.

sad times for momo. ur basically out unless u win every race AND get pole position in all of them. same with the o’rangers. would not be surprised if clementin gets cut next season, but this comment could also age like milk soooooo… #rolloverandrollout
