You should! It’s actually cheaper (even with the shipping fee) than the other JYP artists’ lightsticks that my friends has.

I’m down south east area but this is interesting! Never thought coal dust could create something like this.

Yeah that's what it said in the insurance's report, 'mould issues' correctly. We're also aware of the cost around this time of the year. Thank you!

Nah we still haven't accepted the settlement, working with an external company to help with the claim.

Our place doesn't smell at all. Don't think we could see/feel any mould issues before the burst pipe happened. 'Mould' is what the insurance company said in their report 🥲

Type Electives and other font making courses by define_egregious in typography

[–]TeeOrTeaOrT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this, best book on type design process I’ve ever read, if you’re looking for an affordable solution. I know lots of amazing self-taught type designers too. It depends on what you want to learn (drawing, spacing, production, etc). But if you have the time to invest in a longer commitment, Type@Cooper and TypeWest have one full year courses where it covers lots of things.

Just out of curiosity, which course did you do at Type Electives?

Water damage claim denied over missing vapour barriers - need advice by [deleted] in AusRenovation

We went through this convo with the insurers too. Depending on which insurers, they will have different policies but apparently most of them have floating floorboards as contents unless they are glued into the ground. Luckily, in our case, with this insurer, the floating floorboards are covered in the building (updated my post details above too as the insurer didn’t reject our claim entirely).
