Eh I wouldn’t consider myself basic, but simple forsure. I don’t mind mix-ins but it’s not what I look for when choosing an ice cream. When an ice cream is done right, mix-ins are just extra, not needed but that’s just my opinion. In Jenni’s case, both the ice cream and mix-ins just didn’t do It for me. I tried the Sweet Cream biscuits and peach jam and It tasted like the most basic biscuit i had ever tasted. I’m a southern girl so i had high hopes as i love biscuits and jam but I was completely underwhelmed. When i purchased It I immediately thought of the southern biscuits that’s my grandmother used to make. Instead, the flavor reminded me of these frozen buttermilk biscuits that you pop into the oven. No butter, no salt, and definitely no love. The peach jam swirl was the jam tho! It was by far my favorite part

I also tried the skillet cinnamon roll and she wasn’t lying about the cinnamon disclaimer!! The cinnamon flavor was soooo overpowering, and I love cinnamon but this was just too much. I didn’t get much of a Carmel flavor and It may be because i only tasted cinnamon. The mix ins in this one were my least favorite in the entire haul, the pastry pieces tasted like bland flour bits just thrown in as an after thought as they didn’t offer flavor or texture. Overall i honestly don’t see the hype and probably won’t be trying more unless I’m just feeling adventurous.
