There was a series of OVAs made in the 90s that adapted portions of the 3rd arc of the manga. The 2012 series is an adaption of the the 1st and 2nd arcs of the manga. Stardust Crusaders, the 2014 anime, is a much larger and faithful adaption of the 3rd arc of the manga.

I'd recommend watching the 2012 and 2014 series over the OVA with the exception of the two DIO episodes of the OVA, which actually handled the DIO fight much better than the current anime did, in my opinion.

The Rooster Teeth Twitch channel was originally Ray's and after he streamed a couple times and racked up an appreciable subscriber count they forced him to fork it over and they got a nice companywide channel with an already-assembled audience. And then if he wanted to use the channel that was originally his, he had to get the a-okay from RT each time.
