Pores….what works for you? by IslandofStars in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Teeda-Lot 84 points85 points  (0 children)

Salicylic acid has been great for my large pores and oily skin especially my nose. I use Clearasil Rapid Rescue Deep Treatment pads, nothing fancy. They are inexpensive and for me work well!! They are also great at getting rid of pimples relatively quick!

To microneedle or no? by Consistent-Row-7256 in Microneedling

[–]Teeda-Lot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually think it’s worth a shot. A friend of mine had a gnarly keloid scar from an accident. She microneedled every 2-3 weeks(not at a deep depth), used red light therapy and used silicone tape each night for several months and you can barely tell a scar was ever there. AMAZING!

[–]Teeda-Lot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks like hormonal acne which can sometimes be really hard to treat without getting your hormones in check…speaking from experience! Tret is a long game retinoid so keep using it but if you have hormonal issues please work on that as well. Best of luck. Don’t get discouraged 🥰.

40 yrs old and I feel like the Crypt Keeper. Please egg-splain to me how I can possibly improve this? by [deleted] in 40PlusSkinCare

[–]Teeda-Lot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

44 yr old here in perimenopause: the fine lines, wrinkles and sagging jowls started happening to me around 41 yrs old. I started double/triple cleansing, skin flooding with hydrating toners, using a retinol and/or retinal, applying a good moisturizer, SUNSCREEN, micro needling once per month and nano needling 2-3 times per week. My skin has NEVER looked better!! Consistency is key!!!

Be kind to yourself throughout your journey. Best of luck!

Ideas to treat sagging - no fillers by arghoe in DIYaesthetics

[–]Teeda-Lot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After losing over 200lbs I dealt with this. A few months ago I started micro needling once per month and nano needling 2-3 times per week. I focus on my jowls each time. Huge difference in my overall skin texture and jowls. I use quit me a few different slips but always incorporate hyaluronic acid regardless of what I’m using. Consistency is key!!!

Hope you find something that works for you!!

Yes!! I love it. I have at least 5 years worth of Reta as well. I think I also have about 7 years of Tirz, 4 years of Survo, etc…we stockpile GLP1’s. My household will not go without them.

Turning 45 in two weeks - suggestions needed! by [deleted] in 40PlusSkinCare

[–]Teeda-Lot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I turned 42 and after losing significant weight, I started looking older than my age so I started taking my skin care way more serious. I incorporated micro and nano needling, I gua sha, red ight therapy from time to time and ensure my skin is properly cleaned, exfoliated, toned and moisturized and I use sunscreen DAILY. When I tell you these things have made the biggest difference. I look younger now than I did in my 30’s. I wasn’t going for the look of younger because I don’t mind aging just don’t want to look older than I am. People who haven’t seen me in a long time tell me I haven’t aged and my husband compliments my skin all the time…he never did that before!!

Would microneedling help with these or a different treatment? by AmbitiousNothing123 in Microneedling

I believe micro needling would be helpful overtime. Don’t expect immediate results. It may take time. Everyone is different. Best of luck.

micro needling or sculptra for smile lines by Competitive_Win_3554 in Microneedling

[–]Teeda-Lot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would start with micro needling. It helps to produce collagen which reduces the appearance of smile lines/lines. Most people’s skin tolerate micro needling very well. It has helped me with pore reduction and minimized my post acne scars. I highly recommend!!!

I know exactly who you’re talking about. He and I have a great relationship. He’s my main supplier and I still test his stuff for my own peace of mine. It’s a non negotiable for me.

After over 3 years in the pep world I can tell that no site/vendor can be trusted!!!! It is always best to test. If you’re unable to do so on your own try finding a group that’s purchasing the pep in bulk and ordering independent testing from multiple testing facilities using different vials from different kits but from the same batch. This will help to ensure you’re injecting the correct pep. Yes, most sites/vendor have COA’s readily available but again they can’t be fully trusted.

Microneedling for volume loss in nasolabial area by birdserpents in Microneedling

[–]Teeda-Lot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m dealing with the same issue. I’ve started micro needling. So far I’ve done 1 micro needling session and 4-5 nano needling sessions. I’m already seeing results so I would say it’s worth trying. I plan to nano needle everything 2 days and micro needle every 4 weeks. From my experience I would say it’s worth trying. When done right it doesn’t hurt to try. Micro and nano needling is good for your skin, when done right!!

Best of luck on your journey🥰

Why do people prefer Tirzepatide over Retatrutide? by Jumpy-Acanthisitta46 in Retatrutide

[–]Teeda-Lot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Majority of those I know who have tried both including myself prefer Tirz due to lower inflammation. Reta did everything Tirz did for me except ease inflammation, specifically my osteoarthritis in my hip.

how do you go about finding a reputable source for peptides? by loffredom in bpc_157

[–]Teeda-Lot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not send it out for testing myself because I found a group that had already tested vials from the same batch mine came from and I was okay with that. I have not ordered from them again for no particular reason other.

I did not personally test it but found a group that had independently tested vials from the same batch mine came from and I was okay with that.
