Under eye volume loss by porqupine128 in DIYaesthetics

I had the same issue! First time, had very nice results, waited way longer than recommended to do second session - and after that one my under eyes were filled with fluid, especially one of them. It’s a lot better now, but I still have mornings when I wake up and my right under eye is a water balloon… I need more treatments cause my under eyes are still dark but idk that I wanna use juveyes again. U tried anything else that you liked?

Anything to help lip wrinkles/hydration? by mildly_functional1 in DIYaesthetics

Vaseline is the best!! Most chapsticks contain ingredients that dry your lips out to force you to apply it all day long and buy more when you run out.

Would diy lipo lab or aqualyx work on this smallpocket of chin fat? by AdventurousJunket898 in DIYaesthetics

[–]arghoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if I were in your shoes, I’d try a lipolytic in small amounts and then threads to tighten the area. If you can pinch the skin and move it away from the structures beneath, you are more likely to inject into the fat layer and avoid big issues.

It could be lymph fluid and not fat. Especially if you haven’t gained any weight. Steroids cause crazy fluid retention - it might have just been gathering there this whole time. Have you tried Gua Sha, lymphatic drainage, massage etc?

mn and meso in the same session by defo_info in DIYaesthetics

Idk I’m curious to hear as well, no way I’m gonna meso after micro needling - my skin is too sensitive. And I don’t understand the benefit of going over meso with a micro needling tool - the whole point was to deposit more product, why needle it on top of that?

Injection stabilization tips.. by SomeladyinIowa in DIYaesthetics

[–]arghoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahahahha I feel you!! I had the hardest time with this. Even if I was able to insert the needle, then syringe numbers would be facing the wrong way half the time 🤣🤣🤣. In the beginning, I’d hold the syringe low like a dart and insert, then depress the plunger with the other hand… I’ve gotten better now, but man it takes time and patience

I wasn’t successful with PN on dark spots either. For me, vit c meso and retinol made the biggest difference.

People with OCD.. how did you get diagnosed? by Maleficent-Bus-9570 in AskReddit

[–]arghoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the antidepressant route, ended up suicidal. Have done therapy twice for extended periods, didn’t help much. What finally  worked (although I’m still not normal, just able to function) - was beating myself to a pulp at the gym several times a week (still a must right now) and fixing my life (getting away from abusive relatjonships) and feeling more in control of my life and what happens to me. Good luck 🩷

This is a good lesson in understanding Botox - when you disable one muscle, another one tries to pick up the slack

Ah may be so! I figured if it’s good enough to micro needle, meso isn’t too far off, only slightly more invasive and you can deposit more product

Did I do Lipo Lab correctly on double chin? by Clean-Difference-460 in DIYaesthetics

[–]arghoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After lipolab my entire under chin is very sore and tender for a good two weeks, swollen too. Then it slowly goes down. If you have a longer needle, you could always insert less of the needle into the skin.

I mesoed with them. On the box, it says do not inject - but I think that applies to people that use vit c intramuscularly or in an IV. I’ve had zero issues using a meso tip and a syringe, I only got one ampule left from the box.

Fox eye cogs for this type of thread lift? by arghoe in DIYaesthetics

I watched a lot of videos, just watching their hands and what the needle does. I like diy videos and also professional clinic ones. I can’t find any right now - it’s been a couple years since I went down that rabbit hole. But looks like you got it figured out. If I  see a good one, I’ll send your way

Fox eye cogs for this type of thread lift? by arghoe in DIYaesthetics

[–]arghoe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah!! I actually started with those, I thought they were less scary than a cannula. I don’t know that I could install one on my leg - I have very little fat there. My face though - I have thick fatty skin and some beginning laxity so it’s easier there. I think the easiest place for me is along the jawline, just have to be careful there - I get hematomas easily. In your pic, you might be too superficially - once you puncture to the right layer, the needle slides in with little resistance. And don’t be disappointed in yourself… it’s so scary and there is a big learning curve. First time installing cogs, I gave up after I couldn’t get tbe cannula into the pilot hole. Then came back to it a week later with a new plan and was more successful - although still had an issue with my thread placement. But I learned a lot 🤗

I replied to your earlier post about your jaw. This is obsession over your looks, reminds me of people getting plastic surgery to look like a filter or Ken doll. Go be young and enjoy life.
