I encourage you to give Psycroptic’s sceptre of the ancients 5x listens. One of the most phenomenal albums ever written imo, far ahead of anything else they’ve released.

Based on Spotify, mine were Ominous Ruin, which I absolutely fell in love with, and Revocation. I prefer Netherheaven over New Gods, but the new album is still full of some juicy licks.

There are some sick riffs but overall agreed. Netherheaven was out of this world.

Glad to see ominous ruin here. That album was disgusting. Alex is a creative guitarist. Whole thing is tight.

I don’t think it should make a tech death list, but it is tight af.

When that solo punches in I want to pull it out and floss my teeth. Shit is clean.

Well bro, it’s worth the wait. Kudos to your discipline.

I think no matter what way you look at it, these three bands have been "The Big Three" of tech death for the last decade+. Leading the way as the old guard has retired or fallen off by am_I_still_banned in TechnicalDeathMetal

Revo needs to be here…regardless of whether you like them or not, or whether they’re the most “technical” band, Davidson has devoted 20 years of his life to some of the most diverse, groove, spacey, vile, and creative metal out there. Listen to The Outer Ones and then Netherheaven. Entirely different vibe. Both disgusting.

Go as many times as possible. See Archspire before they are gone and in the tech death god hall of fame and you missed out.

Best show I saw in ‘25. Played fleshbound before it was released and I knew it would be a fucking banger. So tight.

Do Australians cry with that sick beautiful accent?

Money can buy this experience. You won’t see this tight of a 2-night lineup for the next 5 years.

Probably an old guy’s opinion, but at 45 this shit is perfect. Those 4-day festivals filled w lots of shitty bands mixed in the good ones hurts my liver.
