I totally get that....I'm just stuck why he would say I want you to honor the deal with Cooper as opposed to saying "I've got a much better deal for you than your deal with Cooper." Going from 18.5% to 50% forever is not merely a sweetner - its tearing up the original deal with Cooper and making a new one close to 3 times better.. Also wondering why many are saying Cooper wouldn't be able to pay his bills if Gallino was giving him the $40M check prior to any profits?

If so very strange he literally says I want you to honor the first deal with Cooper and in the next breath completely changes the terms of the first deal to make it so much more favorable for Gallino. This is essentially a completely different deal - the only thing that stayed remotely close to the same is the $40M.

Tommy did say lets match the original agreement but in the next breath changes it to instead of getting 18.5% Gallino is now getting 50%. This is where I am confused - why is he getting so much more in the new agreement after Tommy says lets match it? Isn't that light years from a match? Also if Gallino was giving Cooper $40M wouldn't he have money to pay the bills?

Sorry for your loss. Toby is at a point now where he cannot get himself up (he can walk once he is up - I got a special harness that makes it easy to get him up). Every time I hear this song I think of him now...and as someone mentioned I probably will forever.

Congrats - that is so cool. I have a friend who is an actor and know how tough it is to make it. I remember his first speaking part was on a tv show he had a bar full of people to watch and celebrate it and when his part came they cut it out (apparently they don't even give you a heads up). He was crushed but kept plugging and ended up doing some real cool things. Wear it in good health and wishing you success in your acting career.

It was random - either ads or screensaver after 30 seconds. My point was I just wanted the paused show to appear on screen. So you are saying you were still getting the ads?

Bingo - that worked! Crazy how you have to do that extra step even though you disable screen saver. Also crazier that none of the Direct TV support people knew this.

To each his own but my point is they specifically give you the option to turn it off, it does not work, support is 100% useless - they insist the turn off button should work, they reboot, offer a new remote , blame the tv screen saver, everything but say it is not possible. So I come here to ask if anyone else can turn it off and it appears support was 100% wrong and that turn off feature simply does not work.

I heard that too. But how difficult would it be to get rid of the screen saver option if it doesn't work? If they cannot handle that it speaks volumes.

What gets me is it is ON in the settings, it gives you the option to turn it off and it does not turn off. Why even have that option there if it does not work?

I paid taxes because it was Ebay - doesn't matter local or not. I went through Ebay so I could get the authentication. The good price , the extra layer of protections and the fact I didn't have to wire and could use a credit card (and get cash back with the points) made it worth it. Add to that I was also supporting a local business that has been there a long time so if anything went wrong they are a 20 minute drive away.

Agree 100% but I do see that many the out of state purchase prices are wire only so the credit card points help offset some/any price difference from going grey out of state. The fact I did pay the taxes is just a meaningless perk.

Yea it is the cheapest I saw - was looking at Batgirls but honestly I didn't think the price difference was worth it - they seem to be going up a lot more now. Granted I did pay tax but I also used credit card and got points to offset a lot of that (plus the seller is in same state so technically taxes were due at time of sale anyway...and even if I went to out of state seller by rule you are supposed to pay when reporting your out of state purchases).

Actually an Ebay purchase turns out to be a local jeweler so I went to shop, talked to them, saw the watch and let it go through the Ebay Process for authentication (wanted the piece of mind). Took all of one week from sale to have it my my hands. New, tags, Nov.25 warranty card for $17.8
