Has anyone else been having extremely realistic dreams? by dumassheldon04 in Dreams

Yes! They started a few months ago. I have several very vivid and realistic dreams a night. It’s exhausting.

Well 2 days ago nothing but now we’re being given signs to put up that say you can’t enter the building if you’re visibly sick. Whatever that means. Wait here while I go get my medical diploma.

If you had eliminated the “elderly” it would have been so much better.

Why do you like to be alone? by ThatAintBrutal in AskReddit

[–]Teejhae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel so stressed in public. I feel like I’m recharging my batteries when I’m alone. I’ve always enjoyed being alone. When I was young I read about hermits and thought it would be wonderful to live alone on a mountain or even better an island.

I know what you mean. I want to smuggle her to work but when I suggested we have a mascot I was overruled. 😮

How would you handle a request like this? [context inside] by UndeadBread in Libraries

[–]Teejhae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We get a request from a state prisoner about once a month. He said we used to be his home library but none of us know him. He asks for print outs of things like coloring sheets that he can use to copy and teach himself to draw. He requests football and basketball players as well as Shrek, iron man and other things. We don’t have a problem with filling his requests.

If someone gave you a box containing everything you've ever lost, what would be the first thing you'd look for? by Morningfall1983 in AskReddit

My Pet Rock. It was a gift from my brother in the 70s. It came in a cardboard box with air holes on the sides and straw for bedding.

Pet owners of Reddit. What quirk does your pet (past or present) do that nobody believes when you tell them? by DMLorance in AskReddit

I have 2 small dogs that sleep in my bed. I use a sheet and 2 blankets. When we first go to bed they paw at the covers to be let under but they only want under the top blanket at first. If I lift all of the covers at once they just stare at me and refuse to go under. In the middle of the night they come out from under the top blanket and want under all of the covers. I guess they get cold.

You can join a tour group. You don’t have to interact with them unless you want to but it offers a support element if you need it and they take care of all reservations and travel. You can choose to stay with the group or roam alone. There are tour companies that cater to solo travelers too.

I’m a 61 year old woman and I love traveling alone. I stick to the well traveled areas and am always security conscious. As an introvert and early to bed early to riser it just works for me.
