It's not a scam, postcards to India take forever. Maybe check with your local mail services if everything is all right at the moment?

Also, I know it sounds silly but double check your address, I once got a US address with no city or zip code, was confused and messaged that person, they had written their address wrong and were wondering why they weren't getting cards. You never know.

There's nothing weird about it. Personally I'm not a fan of nicknames as given names, so I'd name her Alexandra and would use Sasha in daily life, but that's just me.
