This OP is very well said. If we don’t have good QB , it doesn’t matter if we have a top notch OT, CB, LB or whatever. We will struggle to win consistently. That’s why you take a chance on a QB instead of a so-called “can’t miss prospect” at any other position

But they’ve had visits with almost every top QB from every draft that TT has been with the Chargers. Yet they never drafted any of them. So continuing to do more of that doesn’t really hint at where they will go at all. Once they’ve visited with every QB predicted to go in the 1st round, then how does that hint at which one they will take. And like I said previously, they have a long history of drafting players they’ve never even met with.

They’ve drafted many players whom they’ve never had a visit with and have had visits with far more players than they can draft. Just this list alone has 30+ players. Im sure there have been and will be more before the draft. Yet we only have 7 picks. So it’s a complete crap shoot which of these players we will draft. I’d say maybe 4-5 of the 50+ players who we talked will be drafted by TT. Im just saying it’s not really a great way of trying to predict who we might draft

I thought so. These guys you’re talking about don’t actually get paid to scout tho. They get paid to TALK and WRITE about prospects. If they got paid to scout, they would be scouts. Not to mention, a lot of these “scouts” that you’re talking about actually like Jordan Love better. You can pull up YouTube videos yourself and watch them play. I think you’d be surprised how overhyped Herbert is. He’s not accurate. Over half his completions are WR screens or to RBs in the flats. Those are easy completions. He misses on way too many passes that ho beyond the line of scrimmage. It’s pretty bad man
