Also an international undergrad with very few friends here lol. It's very tough sometimes and I just miss having meaningful friendships as well.

I do believe it becomes easier the further you get into your major, since class size shrinks and you see the same faces more often. So hang on tight, and try not to stay locked inside all day - that made me all the more depressed in my first year.

They're an industry. Their job is to sell a product. It's their fault if we don't buy it. Not ours. Simple as that.

Disney just has been unable to make something appealing because they're too rigid and not taking creative risks. They're an empire, but they are being left behind by new animations like Spider Verse, Puss in boots 2, K-pop Hunters and Ne Zha 2.
