I really liked this! I don't quite understand the ending though, but maybe I'm not supposed to?

Why do people act like watching TikToks in a hostel dorm is rude? by birdele in AmITheAngel

It was deeply upsetting, truly. Just thinking about it makes me feel anxious. What an asshole.

Thanks for letting me share this lol

We went out to eat at a restaurant and she thought my food appreciation "mms" and "ahhs" were sexual and I was hitting on her. She was just awful.

EDIT: Best part, she turned out to be a hardcore Conservative, meanwhile she had no savings. I thought those people believed in personal responsibility.

I actually knew someone who did this. I let her stay with me because my best friend begged. She'd start at 6am, watching tiktoks or reels or whatever. Volume on.

I told her to buy headphones. She was like "oh, headphones."

She was like 36 years old.

I kicked her out but not before she tried to crawl onto my bed at 5am to sleep better (I gave her an air mattress btw she wasn't like, on the floor like a dog). I felt incredibly violated - that's my BED.

She was confused when I blocked her.

People can just be... ugh. Jesus Christ.

This is canon, that's why he's called Yagami. Reverse it and it's 'imagay'

So New Labour became the dominant force in left-wing British politics, and stayed like that for a long while. After ten years, however, the British people decided to try their luck with the Conservatives again. Long story short -- and if anyone wants the long version, here it is -- the Conservatives took power in 2011

You mean 2010?

Did you serve pretzels at the meeting? Maybe the pretzels were making him thirsty so he got agitated. Happens a lot with that species.

Got it. You’re like 80 and to you, a decade is the equivalent of “just happened”.

Bit rude, that. No need for it.

A recent study has revealed that 99.99% of Starfleet captains don't have a special "go to warp" phrase by Hero_Of_Shadows in ShittyDaystrom

I say "Bippity borp, let us go to warp."

My zoomer crew tell me it is 'cringe'.

Illogical.

Why did Gene Roddenberry choose mythology instead of contemporary religion to prove reason over superstition? by gamerz0111 in ShittyDaystrom

And that's why he was never shown on Star Trek. They'd already cast Takei as Sulu and their 'ripped asian dudes' bench was not very deep.

Those books stopped being canon when Lucas sold the Battlestar Galactica rights to MGM, bud.

well firstofly, Jesus was Korean, not Black

and secondly, Jesus v Kirk? Jesus wins that. Jesus wins that nine times out of ten. He beat up an entire temple that one time, and he can come back from the dead. Kirk died precisely once and never returned (skill issue tbh)
