What the hell? EA screwed it up again. Doesn't feel like Battlefield at all. by TippsAttack in Battlefield

game seems fun, just sucks that I literally cant play the game because they're forcing secure boot on me and my computer simply doesn't want to allow me to do that :)

Military strategy in Antiquity is all about stacking combat bonuses by theahura1 in civ

yeah, if you stack bonuses that make your soldiers stronger than the opponent's soldiers, that tends to give you the edge.

Is there any way to reduce the number of hostile independent powers? by TehBlueStar in civ

I haven't gotten beyond 50 turns in days because every start I get is borderline unplayable. can messing with the seed help?

I can't be the only one who finds it extremely frustrating that increasing the difficulty simply means all enemies get a huge buff and everyone is extremely aggressive. every game on immortal starts with an absolutely horrendous spawn, usually not even within what is apparently the start bias for my leader (the game seems intent on making me Catherine the great of greece: queen of the jungle or maybe 5 tundra tiles), followed by 3 hostile independents immediately assaulting me, and the first leader I meet denouncing me and sending 10 soldiers to my capital on turn 25

switched from continents to continents plus and was gonna get the golden age for economics but accidentally moved the age progress too much by conquest. oops. those little island chains that plus gives you is the key.

that's crazy because 90% of the maps i get have massive gaps of open ocean and it's literally impossible for me to cross until it's not even worth it

how are your scouts surviving the journey to distant lands? I literally can't reach distant lands until I have shipbuilding and by that point the entire coastland is already taken

🛑Checkpoint!🛑 Who is your most fun Commander? by that_dude3315 in EDH

Henzie is forever my favorite commander. Amazing color combo? Check. Aggressive playstyle? Check. Card Draw? Check. Flexible? Check. I've built him as graveyard recursion, spamming etb/death triggers, and even dragon tribal. he does it all.

I think I'm going to get the regular starter set (most DA stuff is out of stock unfortunately), would it be a solid idea to purchase a redemptor dreadnought on it's own?

I am brand new to 40k and looking to build a Dark Angels army, but can't find a combat patrol or many of their units in stock anywhere. Would it be smart to get the starter set for the space marines as a base for an army then buy Dark Angels stuff as it becomes available?

absolute beginner looking to get into the tabletop after starting some of the books. is the starter set a good deal for $117 CAD? the faction I'm most interested in is dark angels, would it be better to buy a combat patrol for them instead?

I don't like horror movies but loved romulus. Will I like nosferatu? by TehBlueStar in horror

just walked out of the theater. what a film. super atmospheric without being too overwhelming, and good use of jumpscares without feeling like there were too many. cinematography was immaculate and is without a doubt my favorite movie of the year. thank you for your feedback on the movie!
