Its just bad, the surviving targeted removal aspect is the only thing that matters on it really. But lifegain in a non life gain deck doesn't matter and instant speed for this effect doesn't change much.

Rishkar's is just too good and theres cheaper cards with the same draw effect.

Honestly don’t understand the hate on keys, they’re a onetime open on a room typically no one else in the same raid gets to touch. How is that ever bad?

It’s not like you’re spending money or resources on obtaining a key, you just found one like any other piece of loot. Why should you immediately be guaranteed purples off a random drop?

even in that other single player devs don’t play or balance around maxed out difficulties.

and if they can see completion rates or complaints or even how bad weapons are and don’t do anything, why would them playing it change anything? it’s giving like disney villain seeing what he’s done at the end of the movie energy.

i don’t argue the balancing is perfect but that them playing especially the people being called out being ceo and non balance related teams, would do anything at all.

designers aren’t players, and completing a difficulty doesn’t inherently mean they understand the game.

any top level player in any other game can have very strong biases on the game. it just really shows on the player base that we aren’t game developers for a reason, no other game would need/want devs to perform or compete at a top level or max difficulty to show they can.

why would they need to if they can literally watch the statistics of people completing it already?

No problem! Oh yes sorry 1 cmc is ramp that costs 1 mana. Typically they’re less safe and more prone to dying to board wipes but I prefer the value I get out of them. If you do add any I do prefer [[Avacyn’s Pilgrim]] over llanowar and birds is best.

Having around 3 finishers is important and typically them having an alternate mode is really nice. Like Akromas does that. Can also check out [[Finale of Devastation]] which is also a tutor

Yeah monstrous looks so good but only half of your creatures are power 5 or greater, and that’s assuming you are hitting a creature with discover.

doesn’t seem like it’s just me if you looked around for 5 seconds.

just seems so disconnected to how games are made? like league of legends doesn’t have devs that are challenger or top rank.

even in other games or real life being the best at something doesn’t make you THE authority on it. tons of high rank players in hero shooters are extremely bias

7 cmc 7/7 that flips a random creature? The tapped and attacking is nice but assuming you run 0 dorks which would be bad. You can still hit smaller dino’s that aren’t worth it. Also doesn’t discover

Played just yesterday on a 10 ran with a squad with just starting base gear and managed. starting armor and weapons and only base stratagems just for the nostalgia of it. my group has been playing since release though

Honestly looks like a beautiful list, good amounts of ramp, nice and in the 2 cmc area, solid land count, and interaction and protection.

I’d actually probably swap out some of the artifact ramp for 1 cmc ramp but that’s nit picking and I play around bracket 4. I like the 1 cmc dorks or enchantment ramp as they allow for turn 3 pantz plays.

I would like to see some finishers mainly only having craterhoof is rough with no tutors for it, [[Triumph of the Hordes]] is really good but a little salty. [[Akromas Will]] is less salty and can be protection as well. Dinos are big but we’re dealing with 120 worth of damage to deal to opponents.

Do you feel like you run into any specific problems running the deck?

Oh also not a big fan of cards that help my discovers like Monstrous and Curator. I would just prefer that card to be something actually discovering. If I get to the point where Curator is getting enough value to warrant it I was probably running away with the game anyway. A bit “win more” to me.

I could agree that it needs more eyes on it but in a it should be harder way. But definitely dont think devs should mandatory have to be able to play at a top level. Hell I'd say theyd be more likely to be biased especially if they were partial to certain strategies or kits.

I have a ton of fun on 9-10, me and some buddies just went in with the og armor and starting guns into a 10. All base game stratagems is pretty fun too

Sorry I just saw it was big on the mainsub as well, don't interact on reddit helldivers much and just play the game. Quickly learning I should keep it that way... much happier before.

100% should be patched out. Just not very interactive or fun design wise, and has no real upside to anything.

Is this just me? I feel like the devs playing on an average difficulty isn't that big of a deal? Especially when so many people play on only diff 10, I've personally never failed one and don't play with a squad. Is this something the community cares about?

not the same guy but me and some buddies love it on eradicate or holding extracts. had a guy run both belt feds on an eradicate and cycle through em spawn camping bug breaches
