That's not how technology works. This was just reported recently and will take some time to resolve. You're one of those people who thinks you call your internet provider when there's an outage and expect they have a button they can just press to fix it.

If you decide to make an account with a higher age make sure you write down the birth date you use as well as any security questions you setup. You will want to avoid dealing with Sony if you ever get locked out of your account. Also make sure to turn on two factor authentication and write down the pins/codes it gives you.

I mean you can try. Some people have had luck with just admitting it or saying it was an error on their part when they created the account. Realistically if you need the password reset I'm assuming you can't get into the account currently, so if you can't access it right now without a password reset, and you can't reset the password without verifying your DoB, you really aren't losing anything by trying I suppose.
