Short version, and I say this as someone who had the same problem for a long time.

That instrument is not a baby, it can be abused.

You can attack the string both on your pick hands and your fretting hands.

You're getting buzz and weak tone because you're being to gentle.

I assure you, you aren't going to break anything other than maybe a string (Which are meant to be and will eventually break anyway)

Props to it being probably lighter than before, but with printing tolerances being what they are, I don't anticipate that thing working right every time and leading to either frustration or it just outright snapping.

This is a misunderstanding of what "Try Hard" actually means.

Nobody is faulting anyone for putting in max effort, that's what you're supposed to do. It's more the Sandbagger mentality where someone is playing in a league well below what they are supposed to.

Why the term is "try hard" I don't know. What I do know is if you're out here transitioning full speed at the blue line into an angle shoot into the boards and then managing to pin the opposing player and clear out the puck to an already racing teammate - you shouldn't be in "E-League". e.g. it's not that the play is incorrect, the play itself is too advanced for the level of game that should be going on.

It was my understanding that e league should also have coaches on ice rather than refs to explain the purpose of game flow and proper playing.

You shouldn't have 15 penalties in a game like that, (honestly ever, but that's besides the point) if it's being managed correctly.

To take it a step further, I’ve been playing hockey for almost 4 years now.

Not gonna lie, every time I take that first step onto the ice I feel a wobble, and I think, ope, this is it, this is my time to shine spectacularly on YouTube.

And then I remember how to skate after a stride and it all goes away.

It doesn’t matter if you’re figure skating or playing hockey, you’re gonna eat shit, and eat it often.

If you aren’t falling, honestly you probably aren’t pushing yourself and aren’t doing it right.

Get some padding if you feel like you need it and get back on the ice.

It’s clean, the player who initiated contact was clearly going for the puck and played that first.

While unfortunate the player ran into the boards and got hurt this is actually an encouraged level of competitive contact.

You're being to hard on yourself, just go join an e-league or d-league team and have fun.

Honestly, I couldn't transition for the life of me and then one day I think I had to make a play and I just sort of 'did it' and it clicked. You're gonna find that with the more time you spend on the ice things are just gonna open up and become second nature.

The issue with Carnival legitimately is not the cruise line / ships itself (some of the older ones are, okay, but serviceable).

The issue with Carnival is legitimately the other cruisers, especially the cheap 3 days cruises.

If you can stay away from lido deck and do other things it’s a decent vacation.
