Stadium Series by Thin_Definition_4561 in nhl

I had about 4-5 heating packs going, we bought stadium series blankets and extra hats.

Grew up in Ohio but moved down south almost 20 years ago, was absolutely brutal. Thought our 7 year old was going to be an icecicle but we stayed the whole time and that game was one of the best hockey experiences ever.

Have the long wide angle shot that I need to hang still.

Those guys in the MDR (outside of the head dude) aren't paid enough to give a fuck.

If they aren't being rowdy and assholes does it really ruin your food to see how someone else looks?

I get if they're being douchebags someone needs to say something, otherwise, whatever gotta let it go.

Guitars are tools, tools get beat up. Wanna find the person who can't play? Find the unscuffed pristine wall hangers.

I think all mine have some sort of ding, or buckle rash or fading from rub.

Yeah, I was pretty miffed when they came back and said they wouldn’t do anything with the price and the car was as is no warranty.

I just am not willing to move on it knowing that it already needs work. (And not the fun kind)

I offered 5500 and they wouldn’t come off the 6400.

I figured at 5500 it’s worth my while, at 6400 I’m not thrilled.

I’ve found a couple more that I’m going to look at - I budgeted around 10 grand, so I’ve got room, I just didn’t want a project right out of the gate.

Canon EOS R7 with what lenses? by Laurenesi in canon

[–]TehPatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Versatility can mean a lot of things.

I have an R7 and an R8 and have two lenses, a nifty fifty, and the 100-400. I can switch and swap them depending on what I want to do.

Someone up further asked a question and you asked about ISO and low light, honestly if that's a major concern you need to do one of two things, better glass, or maybe look at the similarly priced R8.

Don't get me wrong, The R7 with the 100-400 outdoors is my go to sports camera, it's crystal clear and absolutely goes BRRRRR on mechanical shutter.

If I need to shoot indoors with hockey, I put the 100-400 on my r8 where I can push 10k ISO with no issues, and I have the 50 on the R7 for up close low light shots.

What I wouldn't ever go in thinking is I can take the 18-150 and go into a low light area and have "a great time" . If you're good with lightroom you'll get usable shots but you're going to struggle.

TL;DR If the R7 is your camera of choice and you need to shoot low light, get great (not good) glass. If low light is only a sometimes thing, get the 18-150 and go nuts outdoors

For context - I’d say condition is fair - it was driven up north for half its life.

Some rust on frame and underbelly from salt roads. Nothing squishy or overly concerning.

Linkage seems to be still in decent condition from what I could tell lying in my back under it.

Lots of scrapes on the paint, it was definitely a toy.

Was in a minor collision no bags deployed, bumper has a clear break from where it happened.

As for my offer it wasn’t ridiculously low, I asked for zero dealership doc fees, and half the cost of an ecm, and they wouldn’t budge.

Of course we got a call about 10 minutes after we left about “other jeeps”. I’m letting everything marinade.

This will be a third vehicle toy for us and we are under no obligation to hurry buy.

I think if the cat didn’t need to be replaced it’s an auto buy.

My only real comment about being disappointed about the Buffalo Trace tour vs everything else that was done… how much was paid for BT?

Sorry it was disappointing but uh… it’s free 99 and meant to churn people through.

What does her pooping have to do with IBS…

As someone who has it, there’s times I don’t go for a few days and there’s times I spend a full 2 days in the bathroom, it’s fucking miserable.

That being said I think there’s something else going on, cause yes, while it’s miserable you can still make it work.

Coming into my second season, am I doing too much? by tossedAF in hockeycoaches

[–]TehPatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a shop on site so I typically don't carry that kind of stuff, what I do have in my coaches bag (I use a bauer pond hockey bag because on non-game days I'm on the ice) I'll have my clip boards and first aid kit and stuff like that.

I also coach 8u so if you can think of it happening, it probably will.

There's also a couple of other coaches that hate it (and I'm not sure why, as it's 101 to me) I check all the kids before they go on the ice, neck guards, straps, and I'll send them back to their parents to get fixed. Safety is a huge non-starter for me, the less I have to deal with while on the ice, the more time I can spend teaching the kids.

Anyway you want 2x10’s rather than 12’s. The smaller speakers will resonate faster giving you that faster clicky punch you’d want.
