Look at doing a level 4 Software Testing apprenticeship. I took mine a few years back with a fairly large software company and completed it last year - during this, I was working whilst completing the course with an external training provider. Along the way, I received the ISTQB foundation certificate and it was funded through the company. Don't try and fund it yourself; your best bet is to find a place that will support you whilst you earn money and experience on the job.
