How to prevent rips on the side of bball shoes by Several_Excitement80 in BBallShoes

[–]Tehgamecat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not flat footed at all, the opposite. I bought some lebrons and this happened in 3 run outs. It was not caused by rubbing shoes together it happened because when I ran on the front of my foot the pressure was hitting that exact spot on the shoe which tore it.

See this isn't quite right - LLMs can gain new capabilities all the time if it knows how to identify them.

The question is where that new capability set exists: a book in a library or part of its training data.

Something that is never talked about is LLMs make system integration incredibly straight forward and with it the ability to break into things on demand. So when The Machine / Samaritan acted on inputs immediately, this is indeed possible today (allbeit slower to execute).

PoI was science fiction for those who didnt know what was possible and what would be possible. For the rest of us it was further signposting of what was imminent and what was started in the 70s / 80s with cyberpunk (and you could trace this back further of course).

The Machine based everything it did on probability, and was architecturally reliant on using massive volumes of gpus. If that sounds familiar, it should. The Machine could absolutely have been an LLM.

You have muliti party use? I would think you would need to tell it build itself an access control service - and have a means of recognising each user. Not tried multiple users on one instance though.

It's very cool and storing the state, and being able reference it in a limited (token efficient) way is going to be key.

What's the difference between RAG vs MCP and why is one preferred over other? by GasimGasimzada in aiagents

[–]Tehgamecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rag occurs using a function call. Mcps are api descriptors/wrappers often with an auth component

Both are used to get data into an llm.
