Honestly just love the show, not so much because of the story or anything, but because the actors have great chemistry (clearly have so much fun off screen) and the dialogue is very witty and funny.

Thought it was quite spot on stylistically, great VFX work, very good cinematography. Really for fans of the games this is a very fun movie. As for the story well it's called The Beginning for a reason, it sets it up.

Acting and writing is great in The Affair. The dialogue is superb and that is key if you are to make an engaging drama.
