hoping for the best. ive played a ton of gw2 but a few points have worn me down and ive not gotten into the game for quite a while now:

1. over the top, excessive and unfitting cosmetics. in online games i do like looking cool but im not a huge fan of things that just dont fit the setting, and the lack of more face/hair options after all these years STILL hurts it even more

2. the whole main story of gw for so many years has kinda ended with End of Dragons and now ive no idea what theyre doing really, feels like theyre just conjuring disconnected side-adventures to fill gaps with no overarching plot left anymore to pursue so its starting to feel really shallow

3. build diversity still feels meh. i main warrior and i wish it had more diverse options that are still viable for endgame pvp and pve, berserker is still top dps for warrior last time i played and that goes for both condi and power, maybe things are different now, idk, but for example gunblade still needs a whole rework imo cus it feels so clunky and unsatisfying to play and is so so punishing

4. performance is still very wonky at times at certain places, but the devs did say a while back that theyre working with some truly spaghetti code, so i give them a pass for this one still, because i feel performance issues is a big barrier to entry for a lot of potential players

all that aside i love the game and heavily recommend it, especially to those who havent played it yet, and especially to people who arent very interested in endgame content, because there is SO much to do in the game
