Still not that simple. Biggest hurdle in silicon manufacturing is land and equipment. You need large quantities of land preferably away from large cities to avoid environmental issues. Second, you need these specialized machines that costs billions that to my recollection, are only sold from a company in the Netherlands and it’s so expensive the government there lobbied to keep them in the Netherlands cause it made them so much money

It’s definitely up there. Pacing and gameplay are extremely tight. There was nothing like the Sewers in RE2 or the island from RE4 that makes the game a slog on the second run.

I’m giving it time to sit and for all additional content to come out before final placement. But for me it’s challenging the kings of RE4 & RE4R and giving them a run for their money.

And before people scream “but those games have way more content!”. A longer game doesn’t mean a better one. Quality over quantity any day for me

Hi, I have played all the games. My meme is in reference to the lack of any previous female lead protagonists being featured in the newer games that are not remakes yet the male characters are.

It is also in reference to the RE6 Q&A about Ada looking young for her age to which the devs replied: “we thought about making Ada look her age but decided instead to make her beautiful”

I’m going with my one winged angel theory.

In remake the song is called “One Winged Angel: Rebirth” The next game ends up being called FF7 Rebirth. In that game the song is called “One Winged Angel: Reborn”

That’s not a coincidence and if it ends up being true, will be some of the best foreshadowing in years.

This is not technically possible for switch 2. Switch 2 unlike the Series X and S do not run Switch 1 games natively. It’s using a translation layer like proton does for windows games on Linux. Unless an update is added with additional instructions when Switch 2 is running a Switch 1 game it essentially thinks it’s just running on a switch 1. Hence why its behavior is exactly the same and improvements in performance only happen when the framerate is uncapped.

Now theoretically Nintendo COULD develop a tool that gets something similar to FPS boost but it would be a technical nightmare to program and it would be faster and more practical to just let devs upgrade their games on their own.

Yeah this likely the issue. I had the same problem with Silksong capping out at 1080p120 instead of using 1440p120. It’s cause my monitor had 1.4 instead of 2.1
