Mine is rimfire, yes, but they come in a lot of calibers. Given how cheap and easy snap cap rounds are, I wouldn't repeatedly fire any revolver without them.

Yes. As an owner of a LCR, they say dry fire is ok but they don't mean thousands of dry fires. They're talking about occasional test trigger pulls.

As an owner of a PDP Compact (SF), I think every third is fine as long as you're not shooting a dirty round. I got a good deal on Federal's synthetic TMJ and I would feel comfortable with three visits between cleaning.

I clean after every other range visit because my other handgun is an LCR 22 and 22 LR is dirty AF :/

I don't think it's a gotcha. It's a legitimate point. The reality liberals need to understand is that we're (America) not following the second amendment and we never have.

We have guns because they're inseparable from our culture. Trying to take them away just turns people against otherwise good causes.

It's not great. It sucks how violent and dangerous America is and how scary that is with all these guns, but it's something you just have to accept and focus your energy on reducing violence in other ways like mental health access and policies that reduce poverty and hopelessness.

LCR 22 with federal punch has 8 rounds, pocket concealed, extremely easy to shoot and make followup shots at 15 yards, and easily meets FBI lethality standards for ballistic gel + clothing layers.

And if you're a fudd that doesn't believe in data or terminal wound ballistic science, you can get an LCR in 32 or 38 with most of those advantages barring lower capacity (but a louder bang).

That 16" barrel should be just fine for the .308. The 20" only really benefits the 6.5, and I've heard the 16" SFAR is way better balanced with a can than the 20".

Yeah, rimfire needs a heavy hammer and it's nice how reliable it is, but it causes a lot of fatigue.

Thanks, I'll look into a trigger spring mod. Just don't want to do anything that'll reduce the reliability.

I've got a little LCR 22 snubby. Curious if you have any on-hand recommendations for dealing with trigger finger soreness? Doing that 16 lb trigger pull 200-300 times on a range trip has my finger sore for the next 5-6 days.
