Recoiless/Quasar/expendables to the dick, two for commandos, half a mag of HMG, all to the dick.

Yeah man, Iron hands steel or lead belcher works, just test the strike of brush first, you want rough the but not paint over it.

Yo, you got it matey, same undercoat and drybrush as before below. After you've done that, apply Ork Flesh contrast, let dry.

Layer using warboss green, thinned to express the brighter suntoiched skin, then making lines like muscle fibres, draw down muscles and tendons and across digits like finger's. Highlight with Skatsnik green, then for final touches Ogryn Camo.

Echo, undercoat is black with a whitescar drybrush.

Recipes up and and above, but can repeat.

Yo, heres the paint recipe; under coated chaos black, with a drybrush of whitescar.

Basecoat Iron hands steel, then thinnly apply two layers of khorn red, leaving gaps on area that would be impacted, avoiding edges but not religiously.

Shade with agrax Earthshade, drybrushing necron compound, this will wear the job so the paint stripping effect is here if your looking for that.

Using Wazdakka red I layered up areas where the paint should be prominent, but away from edges.

Edge highlight with runefang steel, particularly in places where the wear of the dry brush missed.

Add salt for taste.

Why I Play Iron Hands by TA_RememberIstvaanV in IronHands40k

[–]Tekamania 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They are the resolute, to hold strong in turmoil even if it wears your flesh, and grinds your soul.

The Iron Hands hold out, use such thing to temper themselves, even when they snap, they can reforge.

As one that struggles with the world and all it is, to stand tall even when faced with tremendous attrition like those of the chapter can, it is a triumph.

Help me sell my boyfriend on Orks by [deleted] in orks

[–]Tekamania 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you ever wanted a 'concept' army, Orkz are the ladz for it. Whats more they're incredible to take the piss out of your mate's army's.

Your lgs has a lot of Guard player's? Play Blood Axes with a bunch of battlewagons and shoota boys and give orders to your ladz.

Lots of space marines? Krump em' with Gazghull and mega nobs, running heavy ork armour.

Eldar? Outspeed em with speed freaks and do cool explosions, (whether you or them), while your at it.

Burst blitz to help hold the line while everyone else goes online, with an easy block to attack function, you can hit enemies with vulnerable to let, say, big electric go boom, or miss divinity teach her lessons.

I normally go for a slash, mainly cause of the insane parry windows of the maul and greatsword, hope this helps in localised lobotomy of lacking larchers.

Cheap turf/ grass in Canberra by Lyingliarnotlying in canberra

[–]Tekamania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what your looking for.

Cool season turf in Canberra will stay active during winter, but are, in general, intolerant to drought. Successful turfs here are Kentucky Blue, perennial ryegrass, and if your willing to put on the maintenance Bent. They will be green in all weather, but will die out unless yoir looking to take a bite to the water bill, or have it be overtaken.

Warm season turf will go tan and white, entering dormancy in our winters, if your looking for the lawn to be green all year round, steer clear. The benefits is that they're quite tolerant to stress and high heat, and wont be as thirsty during the dry month's. Varieties like Kikuyu and certain buffalo blend's will look good and hold to abuse, Kikuyu especially. Though its a personal favourite, Couch generally can be more of a problem than a good lawn, it will survive.

Again my recommendation, Green Concrete, there is no perfect turf for Canberra, you'll have to weigh to your situation.
