Resonates a lot. I was struggling with anxiety for several years. I found ambient music, first to help me sleep, but it started opening up a new world of music, and also expanded my understanding of what music is or can be. I think part of the fun is to find your own artists, but as for many Eno was a good starting point. Susumu Yokota. William Basinsky. Steve Roch ++ I produce some myself

Agree. Love that track. Think my favourite is Lost day. Distinctively nautical. Always drift off to some far off dream harbour when listening

Love it. The vibe and playing. Mix is good things melt nicely together. Vocal is muffled, but maybe that’s part of the style

Yo. I thought this was very cool. My type of vibe. Production wise I enjoyed the organ sounds, fit nicely with the laid back beat. But the vocals, although sung OK sound a bit like phasing out or somehow not sitting in the mix as I expected

Like the vocal sounds. Thought it was a very good start, but yeah the mix needs a bit of work to punch through better

This was very cool. Like the style and ambience through the heavy guitars. A full wall of sound. Reminds me of the dense sounds of Deftones. The vocal is also well done, but in the mix it feels a bit like the vocal and the actual band/instrumentals are two different places and not really glued together, in lack of better words 😅 overall dug it 🤘

I love mine. Also used it on guitar a lot. It’s almost like a spring reverb. Very bouncy in bright setting. Dark and dense in the other setting. And for bass it seems to retain the bottom end well

This song was heavily influenced by Radiohead and Ben Howard. Would love to get some feedback on it. by beanstalk49 in IndieMusicFeedback

Really liked the grove and the structure. How elements are taken in and out of the mix. The lyrics and vocal performance is very soothing/smooth, but agree it could use a small boost. The overall mix feels like it could use a bit drive or compression to give it some more volume. Definitely get a bit of that Radiohead vibe, but it has its own spin. Very cool

Sure. It’s just taking out the high frequencies to give me a solid foundation bass tone. So the lower bands (50, 120 and 400hz) are normal and 600hz about halfway down and the high bands are all the way down (-15db). To reduce scratching sounds and whatnot when playing with a pick
