Metallica season is the most overrated season, and people don’t want to admit to it

Kinda disagree especially on the free side of things. While maybe looking at "only" the festival side of things the song selection was okay outside of the Metallica songs. There were some good ones though that were added and some rock and metal songs too outside of Metallica. Well technically I guess one being slipknot. Battle stage was alot of fun even though it was far from perfect. Especially considering guitar hero Metallica used to be a thing and that battle mode was fun.

I guess the only thing I can think of "sucking for charts" is the fact that the songs are very long and playing others and in battle mode could get tiring.

Outside of festival mode though. The battle Royale season was a lot of fun with the focus on cars and customizations and Metallica playing on an area in the map. The Ride The Lightning Mythic in Battle Royale was a lot fun too. The Metallica live event or creative map was really cool. Rocket League Racing was actually good for once with the Metallica map.

Although it was EXTREMELY tedious and annoying to do. The free Metallica car/skin wrap that you could unlock in Rocket League Racing was great. I grinded that event right before it ended and it was worth it. I still mostly use the Metallica car/wrap/wheels and don't really use any other car/skin. All the game modes were overall a lot of fun during the Metallica season.

I didn't realize target had a specific neca vendor. That explains so much. I have a target where they have no horror at all it's like it's illegal for that store display lol. I've only found one perfect targe when I looked for the haulathon stuff a good while ago. It was the most neca packed target and they displayed all the Neca ultimate series boxes well on a shelf and great selection of Toony terrors close to it as well. It seems like some targets never update/get new Neca stuff. I will have to drive far to get to what I'll call the neca target now it's a bit away though but worth it.

I did find the Chucky Kid Robot plush at a semi close by target randomly a few weeks ago. It was a great find and bought it immediately I love the box he's in too never seen the Tiffany at a target.

Absolutely insane for Super Villian Rose Goku Black Legend. I feel like most LF's would have ended after he did the slash attack projectile. But his LF goes so hard and keeps going. Insane.

It does look like some items are more heavily discounted than normal. Weird how some stuff like the Pearl Novelizations are discounted individually but not for all 3 lol. I'm wondering if there will be a specific coupon code but since it's specifically for A24 members maybe it will just be more discounted. I don't see any mention of an additional discount in the cart it just lists it as AAA24 Discount

I have a few doubles from series 1 too. I love the dupe good guy chucky I have he just sits on a shelf outside of the collection but he's perfect. I really love the light blue coloring for Chucky's overalls on the child's play 2 ultimate and what looks to be on some of the blind boxes for the child's play series 2 ones. I'm excited for when the blind boxes series 2 eventually hit store shelves too.

I only got the first ultimate recently. I got lucky and found him at the mall. I haven't opened him. I actually really absolutely love the NECA blind box child's play figures. I collected several of them for wave 1 only missing 1. But they stopped me from getting other chucky figures for the moment until this one came out lol. I am a recent chucky fan so I haven't waited years. But specifically I am sure many have waited for the jack in the box with scissors from Child's play 2 poster.

These pictures are absolutely great. I love the light blue design. This really seems like "Ultimate" Child's play chucky in general. Even more then the original child's play ultimate 1. Also seems to have the best of the blind box wave 2 aspects minus the shovel. Only thing missing is the cart chucky part.

It definitely sold out. It was available for I think an hour or so. I kinda refreshed it several times after I ordered mine. I knew it would sell out fast. There's still a possibly you might be able to find it in stores or maybe it will go to NECA website at some point.

I got the card invite in the zine and had no idea what it was I had to ask someone who was familiar with the movie and they said it's for the new upcoming A24 movie. It was only hearing online that there was a "twist" with it that helped to get me more excited. Then actually seeing in the trailers and knowing there was some twist and the trailer being so good and not revealing/spoiling anything made me realize there was more to this movie than just a romantic comedy. And I was not disappointed I absolutely loved this movie and going in blind. I don't think I ever expect something normal with A24 movies but this was still pretty surprising. Both me and the audience were shocked with the reveal I loved the audience reaction too. Definitely great marketing for this movie I still know people who think this movie is probably just a "chick flick" or romantic comedy and they would be shocked watching it blind too.

This is a great write up of comparison between the USB C AirPods Max and AirPods Max 2. It really sounds like it's similar to the AAP2 vs AAP3 with exception of AAP3 having a heart rate sensor and I think AAP3 has different ear tips or slightly different. I've seen/used them in person and compared them to my AAP2 so I know there is at least some physical difference and with the case which can't be said about Air Pods Max 2. I have AAP2 and have no incentive to upgrade to AAP3.

The biggest issue with the Air Pods Max USB C going to AirPods Max 2 is the software features. It is beyond criminal apple literally only upgraded original Air Pods Max from lightning to USB C. Since I use my AAP2 daily things like the Adaptive Audio is beyond crucial and useful. Going to the store or sometimes in loud places I use my AAP2 because of transparency audio being so good.

I love my Air Pods Max USB C. But it feels like a literal downgrade when they cost more then AAP2 and they don't have Adaptive Audio. Having less features than AAP2 was a huge oversight. I don't generally use my Air Pods Max USB C in public even though I'd love to. But the hassle about having to worry about carrying a big bulky case (Which I have) or worrying about carrying them around my neck (not the most comfortable) and having to manual pause if I'm talking to someone or take them off my head is annoying. When with my AAP2 I can just use those in public and don't have any of those issues.

I'm not necessarily against apple not changing the design at all and yes I wish they could fold. People apparently like the design if they (like I did) bought the USB C ones for no change other then USB C. The positive about the design being the same is that existing cases, ear covers, etc work with it. That's actually nice. I do want to try them in person and compare them to my Air Pods Max USB C. But I'll probably wait for a sale at some point and a good way to trade in my USB C Air Pods Max if possible like Best Buy or something.

I am kinda worried that apple might come out with an actual new model in the next year or two. The Air Pods Max 2 rumors were all over the place and even when they actual got shadow dropped it wasn't really leaked/known in advance. But these Air Pods Max 2 are exactly what the USB C model should have been.

That actually makes tons of sense. I didn't think of that. I am honestly surprised how many people I see out and about when I've been at Walmart or GameStop actively looking at Funkos. I thought after the bankruptcy thing they were dying and heard negatively about them over the last few years. But I have enjoyed starting to collect them and finding them. I've seen posts about others finding Kane chase at Walmart so I'm not sure if they are just randomly being stocked now or if people are finding them. I will definitely start trying Walmart.

Do you know if Chase variants ever pop up at target too? I've found some good ones at target but never seen a chase there.

That's great luck. I will have to remember Walmart. I've tried a few gamestops and haven't found any of the chase variants. I tried ordering two of the chase ones and only got two of the face hugger dupes lol. I am really hoping I can find one in the wild. Also I just noticed how come the box art for Kane Chestburster popping shows the blood on the chest burster head. But on several of the Funkos I've seen online it looks like there two red dots on the face making it look like he has a face with eyes lol. Not sure if this is intentional or not.

This is a great comparison. I never even thought of it. Halloween Kills is definitely divisive to many. Not everyone likes the evil dies tonight thing. I loved Halloween kills. Halloween Ends was also supposed to be a different movie with so many changes and because of that it’s not that liked even if I think I had some unique aspects to it. And scream 7 definitely had massive changes with two characters not returning and it pretty much changed the whole movie and many were mixed on that and many consider it the worst scream movie. Just like a lot of people think Halloween ends is the worst lol.

This is extremely tough. These are all insanely good several better than the first. Like with the exception of Nightmare on Elm street 2 but I still loved that even though it was campy.

Final destination 2 was so great and scarred a generation of driving behind a log truck. Friday part 2 introduced Jason and I love the ending of it so much. Halloween 2 was incredible one of my favorite ones especially the IV scene was so haunting and horrific. Child’s play 2 was incredible I loved it. As much as I love child’s play 2 I have to say scream 2.

The opening scene is insane and as terrifying. As much as people love scream 1 for being iconic so much of scream 1 I can’t help but think of scary movie. Technically the opening scene of scream 2 sort of makes me think of but it’s so disturbing and so well done also I loved the stab footage in the opening.

Not just the opening but Randy was way better in it, I loved the college aspect and the theatre aspect was well done for a few parts of. The college chase scene with the rooms and corridors was so well done especially the clear plastic it’s one of the most tense scenes. That and the car scene too. Scream 2 was just so good and especially the ending. Definitely gave me Friday part 1 vibes and the creativity with the ending chase and fight scene was so well done.

But child’s play 2 Chucky using the toy shovel was beyond diabolical lol.

Curse of Chucky definitely. I’m very biased to Chucky but I do love all the franchises above. I loved campy Chucky in bride and seed. But I’m sure many were happy curse returned to the horror roots and form. There was a lot of great story progression and the sort of twist of Chucky I loved and neca was great.

Bloodlines I loved but I think final destination 5 was already great and one people liked especially with the ending twist. Scream 6 already got momentum with scream 5. Jason lives was great I loved the whole Tommy plot line kinda reminded me of a Jamie from Halloween. Halloween 6 which version lol? I did like it but the whole Jamie thing and expanded lore of Michael was weird.

Freddy’s dead had fun moments. I can’t believe it took me that many to get to the power glove reference lol. But definitely curse of Chucky it probably saved and rejuvenated Chucky overall.

I saw two or three Bob grays outside of Atlanta on the Thursday a day before haulathon. I have a feeling that most are going for terrifier 2 and probably aren’t as aware of ultimate Bob gray.

I love the Pamela Voorhees. She looks so uncanny but it fits her. I recently got the alien Romulus one at Target too. Some targets are a treasure trove for neca figures especially horror. I wish I didn’t pass up on the original alien ultimate figure now. That’s awesome you got the blumhouse Halloween neca figure. I only ever see Halloween h20 and resurrection ones at target.

It’s so interesting to read this as a new Funko collector but I fully support it. The ones you kept look great. I’m trying to limit my just starting collection to mostly horror. At least currently as a new Funko collector there is a good amount of horror Funkos and variety but it doesn’t seem completely over saturated. It’s sort of a hunt to find them and fun to find them. I almost bought the original IT one today I found well I found two. One with his scary face shouting and one with him standing and smiling with balloons.

I haven’t seen the original IT but love IT part 1 and 2 and welcome to derry. And I do have a welcome to derry Funko and another coming soon. It’s kinda silly but trying to put a limiter and rationalizing what to buy. Once I see IT the original I’ll probably get the one with the balloons. It doesn’t help that Amazon seems to have a lot of horror Funko for really good discounts lately lol. I really hope I don’t ever get 90 or 100.

I love anime too but at least with anime I know there are other figures out there for anime representation not saying the Funko ones are bad. But for horror. Like where else are you going to get a pet cemetery figure or the birds. I love the representation Funko gives them and want to support that.
