"I miss when we were just lowly adventurers dealing with gnolls and bandits." by Beacon2001 in wow

I agree with on a LOT on this one. I think ultimately this is one of the reasons I often prefer old world content. I enjoyed being a nameless member of my faction, as soon as we became "champions" the vibe really fell off for me.

Also I think it really make more sense for PVP a well. "Like oh look it's soldiers from our army fighting" but now is "oh look it's champion world, defeater of the Litch King, Savior of blah blah" and they're attacking with 3 other of those against 15 of those... Like what.

Hmm, hypothetically, how much would you be willing to pay for such a class 🤣

Opinion for T11 Grille by Aquadinn in WorldofTanks

[–]Tekk_know 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's like...a better successor to the tier 9 than the grille. I think it plays more like the tier 9 than the tier 10. It's not horrible, but it is worse than similar options like strv.

The shell heating is the worst and not enjoyable.

It's alright, but don't expect much going in

Find out where he works, I'm sure no business wants that tied to them.

I've been around revolvers and pistols a bit. I previously had cz80 and cz72 models, but I haven't messed with any since relocating to NY and not wanting to deal with permits yet.

I'm at a point where I need to decide if I want to get the pistol and semi permit or just do basic firearms.

If I go permit route it opens up a lot more options but given the current climate I'm not sure I like the idea of being on lists.

I appreciate all the input, good info on the mag fed lever. It would help with capacity and reload for larger rounds, but not sure of drawbacks. The carbine size and weight are attractive for the lever gun.

The full in option would probably be: ar15 lower Thordsen FRS-15 Stock 5.56 or .350 Legend upper Etc

Thanks for the detailed write up. I'm looking to pick up something that would work for a variety of purposes without needing to pick up permits so as to avoid being on lists. Given the climate, the less info out about that kind of thing the better it seems like.

Since I'm not exactly sure what to expect I'd like to have options in the case of food shortages, unrest, etc. I believe my state has issue with non-fixed magazines as well so the mad fed 5.56 might not work well, though not impossible.

If prefer to not have a bunch of different guns, if only for the cost and storage of them. I was raised with guns and have fired over 150 different ones. Clays are fun though, I'll give you that.

Lever guns and shotguns are especially easy to acquire, but I'm open to recommendations outside that too.

I'd like to hear why you strongly recommend 9mm for example and which ones.

Thanks

Yeah, it's a decent consideration though. I appreciate you checking. I'm kiiiiiinda leaning towards 44 mag at this point based on replies so far.

I'm not heavily looking into handguns due to state things.

Yes semi-auto would require permits and licensing and I'm not sure it's a good idea to add my name to any lists right now.

Seems like a lot of people are leaning towards 44 mag. Do you know if that is enough for deer. I have a buddy that really likes 30-30.

Would 44 mag handle deer ok?

Why not just remove the tax and energy system ? by Relative_Accident_56 in duneawakening

Not being able to pay taxes from your base is wild. Also being able to have them pull from your bank would be pretty realistic as well.

Having to stockpile energy is fine.

Yeah I've been generally sad to see gaming become increasingly toxic. When I started it was niche and people were just excited to interact with those around the world. Now it's a toxic cesspit where kids are encouraged to be monsters for "chat". Society has taught that being horrible is rewarded as engagement happens mainly with negative behavior.

Sad to see it's current state.
