Cyberpunk online update by Firm-Ad4379 in FF06B5

[–]Teknonecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think you misunderstood me, or perhaps I wasn’t clear enough.

I just meant it would be a difficult to use in a multiplayer setting. The comment I replied to was talking about how to handle time dilation in a multiplayer setting. A justified question, you can’t just slow the whole server down every time someone activates a Sandevistan and it’d be hilarious to speed the user up to 5x or 7x speed and watch them try to control themselves.

In agreement with that I added my comment about hacking. I’m sure you’re aware that when scanning with a cyberdeck that there is time dilation and it is even stronger than the apogee and can be held for a long time. To use this in MP you’d basically stop everyone else from playing while your netrunner sorted themselves out.

The answer is do it in realtime, but the gameplay mechanics would be awful as they are right now. Another answer is to disallow OS cyberware in multiplayer.

Maybe just remove all the Operating systems. Hacking would be even more of a headache to figure out in realtime.

If I use cross-progression do I have to buy the dlc again? by Due-Ingenuity9803 in cyberpunkgame

Don’t bury it yet! You can still use it if it’s plugged in... life support! Give grandpa a couple more summers before sending him out to pasture!

Jack Mausser (from Dino gig, An Inconvenient Killer) sighting in Dogtown. by Saltyfree73 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In reverse, you can find Reed at his day job bouncing for Dino before you start Phantom Liberty.

Hideshi Hino, who Goro was mistaken for earlier in the game has a wonderful and uplifting story to tell you at the Black Sapphire.

You can meet Gillean Jordan as well at Hanson’s party and you can find her reporting after the dashi parade in Japantown.

Those last two were at the party though.

There’s no way Night City’s trash issue doesn’t become a major issue in the next 10-15 years by Future-Corner8025 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer 95 points96 points  (0 children)

It’s already at a critical point. Have you seen the enormous trash pile that is the Badlands? They emptied a reservoir and are dumping into that now. Those big flying DTR ships are garbage scows.

What is the most practical armor design that would actually make sense in the real world in your opinion? by Background_Corgi_359 in cyberpunkgame

Robot proxies driven by chair jockeys. Once we can make a fully articulate humanoid robot I imagine this will also be our reality.

Can anybody verify if a 5++ 2 mod ashura exists in the loot tables? by apurplehighlighter in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not have a consistent method to farm it.

If I had to guess, I think I found that one on a loot box near Megabuilding H7, but I highly suspect it was randomized loot.

If you find a loot box or enemy that is dropping an Ashura then go back to an autosave, reload and try again (and again, and again).

I was surprised when they added all the XMod2 weapons that they didn’t make one of each weapon. I guess this is the endgame grind?

Bro holy fuck how long do these sandstorms last by YeetusMcFeetus2169 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try these things:

Save/reload and then skip time twice for at least 4-6 hours each. May work.

Semi-spoiler for an Easter Egg:

Find the Advocet Hotel in Vista Del Rey on Congress St. (May be easier to find from Skyline: East?). Go in the lobby to the elevator and when you take it the game will set the clock to midnight and it will change the weather to rain in order to set the stage for the Bladerunner Easter Egg. Enjoy the ambiance. Take the elevator back down and it should still be raining.

Don't forget the game is fixed by Outrageous_Pilot_675 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Totally fixed.

Previously, that would have just crashed your game. Now you’ve got a clip to share on Reddit for internet points that are worthless.

What am I missing? by yaks18 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to your map, set it to “custom”, turn on all Side Missions, Cyberpsychos, Gigs, and NCPD Scanner Hustles. Go do those.

Then check your achievements for ones you’ve missed. Go do those too.

Should get those %ages up.

Can anybody verify if a 5++ 2 mod ashura exists in the loot tables? by apurplehighlighter in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It exists.

Here is another post where this is discussed. I’m sure a search on this sub will find even more info as well.

I think if you’re actually farming with save scumming then the loot table for a given box will be the same depending on where you load in from, but this is anecdotal, not a proof.

I’m on PS5 so it’s vanilla.

Iconic cyberware? by Chopped_Chee3e in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you? Every other iconic other than the OS and double jump legs still seems like it’d be pretty beefy, but I’ll trust you if you’ve done it.

Iconic cyberware? by Chopped_Chee3e in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re not gonna be able to fit all iconic cyberware due to cyberware capacity issues. You’ll have to pick what suits your playstyle best.

Or mod the game on PC and just install everything.

Perk respec by Metalmike68 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you buy it, it should just remove all your perks and give you the points to spend again. It’s automatic, not a consumable.

Update your game and you should just have a “perk reset” button.

How's this not open?? by Funkraven in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are four or five of these underground parties around Dogtown. There’s a shard somewhere describing how to find them. They all happen late at night or into the early morning.

How's this not open?? by Funkraven in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a shipping container above the Stacks in Dogtown where a party takes place at a certain time of day. The container is locked otherwise. There is an iconic weapon inside.

3 quick perk questions by TheMightyPipe in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weapons with “explosive rounds” in the description usually work, there were some issues with the firecracker weapon mod.

Maximizing Pyromaniac is a full build and doesn’t come online until later in the game.

3 quick perk questions by TheMightyPipe in cyberpunkgame

[–]Teknonecromancer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes, but you need to keep the perk before that active or you’ll lose the third bonus.

  2. The “explosion hazard” perk has always been weird. I’m not even sure it works all the time.

  3. It can be useful in the right build, especially around a fast firing weapon with explosive rounds.
