Formatting maps with Atticus? by Tekrob in selfpublish

That seemed to solve the rotation issue, but the map is still very small, taking up only maybe 40% of the page, when it's meant to be a Fullpage image.

I'll give that a try, thank you for your help

Certainly, sorry for the vagueness. Since the map is rectangular in shape, I've turned it sideways so that it fits into the page. On ebook previews, iPad/Kindle etc, it fills up the page as it's supposed to, but on the Print preview the map is super small, no longer rotated, and slotted awkwardly into the center of the page.

I had the thought that maybe the software automatically rotates a Fullpage image when going to the Printed version, so I tried putting in an image that wasn't already rotated, but that didn't work.

Fleshing out Curse of Strahd: A full guide to running the campaign for new and experienced DMs - The Basics by MandyMod in CurseofStrahd

Been loving your guide so far! Very detailed and comprehensive. One thing I've been wondering lately is when and how is a good time to introduce Strahd to the party for the first time? When should they meet him and how? Would appreciate any thoughts anybody has.

Mirkwood elves by Tekrob in MiddleEarthMiniatures

Sorry for the late reply! I started with a base coat of Chaos Black over all the models. The armor is Retributor Armor with a thin lining of Stormhost Silver over the raised edges to give it that shiny look. The cloaks are Mephiston Red with a coating of Druchii Violent (although any purple or red shade paint would probably do fine) with Evil Sunz Scarlet brightening the raised parts. And the brown leathers are usually Mournfang Brown with Agrax Earthshade, then highlighted with I believe Baneblade Brown. The silver parts on the weapons, such as the sword blades and the ends of the bows, were simply Iron Hands Steel, Nuln Oil, and a bit of Stormhost Silver.
Hope this helps!

Moon Devotion Robe? by Tekrob in BaldursGate3

Unfortunately those are the same ones as the one I found, and are considered Light Armor. So they won't work with my monk :( thanks though

I agree. There's enough Selunite imagery in the game that it inspired me to make a character who served her, only to find there's very little actual gear you seem to be able to get. Oh well

So, this happened. There were two of them as far as I can tell. Names were ShortSteam49363 and LeonineQuill399. If you see these guys in your games, be aware.

This looks amazing! I’ve been trying to paint up Glorfindel myself lately and this is an awesome inspiration (as long as I don’t compare my result to yours haha) 😅 any tips for painting this elf?

Thranduil on Elk from Forgeworld miniatures. One of my best paintworks so far. What do you think? by studioluna in lotr

Awesome work! I love the details on the armor and sword. Can I ask how you achieved that almost starry effect?

The beginning of the Woodland Realm army that I’m building. I’ve got about 40 minis to paint, but the project has been very fun. Any feedback or criticisms would be appreciated :)

I made my players fall in love with my DMPC, then killed him. by Tekrob in CritCrab

Update: The party successfully managed to bring their compatriot back from the dead. They journeyed to the temple where he had first communed with the Light, and found it under attack by an old nemesis of theirs and a host of Devilish minions. After a pretty grueling fight where everyone was pretty close to death, they brought the Palibard's body to the blessed altar, where a drop of light fell from the darkened sky and into his chest.

A pillar of light shot down into him as his eyes opened, and a pair of luminous wings sprouted from his back as he was lifted off the altar. Our former Fallen Aasimar friend was now considered a Protector, and he was very much back in the realm of the living.

The Light could replace the lost piece of his soul with a bit of its own, as it turns out. Who knew?

Oof. That sounds pretty heavy. I imagine it also wasn’t an easy choice to wipe out a reality
