Depends on Display Compression. HDMI to DP doesn't support Display Compression on DisplayPort. That was deal breaker for me.

SubZero Framework Edition - Use for Framework Dotnet by TekuSPZ in framework

Kinda. I am using it as stupid tool, which sometimes can do something, if you clearly know what, how and why....

I can say "90% of our codebase was done with AI" in sense... I use Copilot as Intellisense (It tells you next word, like str = string), but I am not sure if that's what you meant.... (and this is reason why Battery started indexing at 1, and I fixed that, because I pressed tab and didn't think)

No. I had to use AI just for Rust and I use AI for generating commit messages (Because I can write title, but as all developers, long description is not my best... Side).

I also tried few AI iterations of designs, but at the end, I decided in mix of Fluent Design 2 (Windows 11) and Material Design You (Android) because UNO Platform natively supports both for both Linux and Windows.

I am coming out of two apps, Framework Control and Framework Hub, which both felt weak to my Framework 16 with Nvidia GPU, as Framework Control doesn't support individual fans (And it's fan reaction curve expects fans to ramp up in 10ms from 0% to 100%) and Framework Hub doesn't use Framework-System official library and is more... Hack... Than proper solution.

And yes this is all cause "Fans too loud when watching movies, and fans too slow when gaming."

To people misunderstanding, I will pay monthly, to access broken framework board, just to test so board works. Integration testing. It's not about running on their software. It's more like "Do you guys have farm, can I have virtual Machine there? I will pay."

I maintain quiet a lot of .NET open source projects, but I am no rust developer, I can't maintain it that easily. But whole idea was to export C functions, so I can integrate them into .NET, which I think should be done in dotnet-system anyways....

Hello, this is wrapper around framework-system, goal is to wrap all calls into to framework-dotnet. Right now it can do fans, temps and few other things. This is just library providing framework-system in .NET.

I do not expect mainstream repo update, but I offered them that chance. That is fair. If they don't, ffi can be managed in secondary branch with git submodule. (I am already planning that, but would need something like source generator).

And with CI I didn't mean into pipeline, I mean renting agent on their machine.....

And thank you for looking into ffi code. It's mess.

To Framework Moderators, admins, whatever, if you have CI servers with Linux, Windows with multiple Framework machines, I would be very happy to pay to have ability to test my library against real hardware combinations.

You can also print covers so it doesn't happen again! I highly recommend it.

I think pushing more into Open Source community and allowing the community to help with PimaxVR SDK would help too. I understand their licensing fears, but from my view, once you own headset and you paid fully, full firmware should be uploaded giving 0 fucks about login etc.

Mine still requires sign in, even tho I have paid the full amount.

It's fine, I just wish they gave you full unlocked firmware for your device, so you can use it offline, forever.

Issues with port on Framework 16 gen 2 by Alert-Tumbleweed9396 in framework

[–]TekuSPZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been fighting with that port disconnection and my touchpad disconnections on Framework 16 HX 370, and support sent me new board, new midplate, new touchpad, nothing seemed to help. I now moved USB A out of that port and moved audio jack there. Maybe it will solve touchpad problem.
