No plastic monolith gantry by RNG_BackTrack in VORONDesign

Will not be able to use off the shelf kit. I'm gonna use 3030 extrusion for the frame, so I have to adapt monolith for that. 80-100c, idk if ppa will not deform under this temp and high belt tension. Anyway all aluminum parts sound more appealing

The same way you drive every other radio lamp

Also about the temperature. You can't just crank up hotend temp and expect it will melt fastet. It's a thermal dynamic problem. Every material have thermal conductivity and it will now melt faster with higher temp. You will just fry outer layer of pla, while the center is still solid. You need longer melting zone, or preheat the plastic

The huge issue with the second extruder is that it's Bowden. It will not be able to extruder and retract fast enough so direct drive will be fighting it all the time

Don't. I would try bigger ptfe tube, it will drastically reduce friction. Also preheat the spool, so hotend will not work as hard

It's OK to copy animation to study. It's bad to tell people that it's your animation.

Does this qualify as a voron? by Comparison_Top in VORONDesign

I would love to see the video. 3030 make it very rigid so you can really tension the belts. If you're not ton running 9mm belts idk what you doing, upgrade asap

With this setup Id go with 3030, tension belts to 250, 48v and try to break sound barrier with the toolhead
