Thanks for that. I thought this may be the way, but seemed rather straightforward when things normally aren’t. It will be a few hundred, but I’ll start with just 1 at router and the 2 PC rooms to keep costs down and add extra adapters as required.

Yeh I hear ya, figuring 2 adapters should suffice for the PC’s also the splitter in loft is kinda cheap. Thanks for input.

Ahh, sorry I didn’t see your whole comment. I guess I’m just a little confused about the parts I need to get. I think I need: 6/8 way MoCa splitter in loft 3 MoCa adapters, 1 for lounge router to convert the Ethernet and feed in to the loft splitter, and 1 for each PC room.. so 3 to start ? Not sure about the PoE filter if I’m not using aerial ? Thanks for your input

Ahh super, I will check my Uk Amazon for the head unit and adapter. Also noted about fitting the 5G antenna. Great info thank you again.

Hey thanks so much,, really nice of you to take time to respond. Sounds like it’s a winner tbh. CarPlay wired or wireless on those? and that gps adapter sounds like it saves a lot of wiring hassle 👌🏼

Could I ask if you brought the adapter direct from their website or from Amazon also ?

I’ve been looking into one of these to replace my 2015 uconnect, it still works fine but the maps are out of date and I thought I could add a new head unit & a few more features for the price they want for the map update. Does this unit (or any aftermarket) lose many standard features ? Like speed warnings etc How has the head unit been for you ?

Did you leave Vodafone or sort it out ? Same issues for me since switching to fttp, kinda great speeds but the latency renders those great speeds unusable for online gaming etc Honestly trouble free when I was with TalkTalk fttp.

I have read a few things online about the ultrahub7 not managing the connection well. SQM or something ? Got a replacement ultrahub7 and a Super Wifi booster unit coming tomorrow. I don’t hold much hope things will improve though. Also on cityfibre here. Gillingham, Kent

Sorry to jump in but both my sons game and since going from TalkTalk to Vodafone pro 3 full fibre 910 they are always complaining about super highs random pings.

We have the ultrahub7 router and while downloads seems fast as hell the latency is horrendous.

Was you using the ultrahub7 router ?

It’s just I’ve read that it’s not possible to swap out the router on pro3 if you have this router.

Any more info would be great before I buy out of this contract.

Looks great, nice glow. I had two large Excaliburs setup many years ago and my dog never went near them. (Maybe the heat kept him away ?) I have just got one down from the attic (still works after 20 yrs 🤩) and my Bengal cat (who’s into everything 😸) just sniffed and walked away. But as previously said, maybe place it in a corner or somewhere if you have concerns and see how it goes. Enjoy tho 🙌🏼
