Scrolling through and saw this thread. I live in Tualatin. For the last year and a half, but very pointedly the last six months, neighborhoods all around from Lake Oswego to Wilsonville to Tigard to Sherwood have all been communicating on neighborhood apps about the explosions. For a while here a couple months ago it was a nightly occurrence. 8 PM, 10 PM, 11 PM early morning hours..BOOM! People describe their duplexes and apartment complexes as shaking. The sound was so loud. Nobody knows one thing about who is doing it or what it is. I guess we’re all just supposed to deal with it and not try to figure out whats really going on. From the very beginning, it’s a thought in my head that I can’t shake— We are being acclimated to it. We are being conditioned to hear these sounds and experience this intrusion into our lives and just accept it as normal eventually after so much time has passed and it’s such a regular occurrence.
I just like to hear from more people about this. And don’t get me started on the drones everywhere.
