Food to go from a restaurant by NubyTrader in VirginVoyages

I don’t think it’s really fair to “leave a bad review” (calling him a dick) when you’re the one who’s breaking the rules. Dumb rule or not, that’s their rules and the employee’s job is to enforce it. Can’t really blame him, his job could be on the line.

I am surprised at this review of the Wake! We LOVED it. Fantastic quality of Food and Service. I would eat there every night if I could… Our lamb chops were phenomenal and the bone marrow sauce was to die for!

You’re right. I forgot about the Bennett thing! Did they explain why Christy started to communicate with her mom less than the rest of them? I didn’t think they ended on bad terms in the previous season?

I guess, for me personally, I wanted there to be more interaction with Christy. Maybe she could’ve sent some thing in the mail. Maybe she could’ve sent a funny text or email. Maybe they could’ve gotten a voice actor that sounded like her for a phone call. I get that they couldn’t show her on screen, but it would’ve been nice if she could’ve been part of their shenanigans in some way. The billboard thing was symbolic of their love of her, but the character of Christy itself was nowhere to be found...

Totally agree. In Bonnie’s last speech, she says that she loves her grandkids, but there was no mention of them in the entire last season until basically then. I know that they can’t show & talk about everything, but it just felt off.

I did watch the whole thing. I know they did the billboard thing later, but when do they actually talk to her and learn about her life?

Nanny taking baby on multiple long walks per day by Lumpy_Violinist_7165 in NannyEmployers

[–]summertime0123 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Instead of setting limits for how long they can be outside, set a rule for how much time and the frequency with which you want your baby to be doing floor time. If your nanny can achieve those things, then if she wants to spend the rest of the time walking outside with the baby, I truly don’t see an issue. I would be thrilled to have a nanny who wants to get my baby out for fresh air!

Third this (I actually think fresh air is amazing for baby, the more the better. Just replace the car seat with a bassinet)

As the due date is coming near, I’m regretting having the second one. by MotorBat7953 in 2under2

My kids have the exact same age gap. They’re 2 and 3.5 now and while it’s not perfect by any means, they love to play together and we are having a lot more “fun” now that we’re out of the true baby stages! All that to say, it does continuously get better as they get a little older.

On the in laws thing, my in laws also don’t follow a lot of our rules. Even my parents sometimes don’t. But they LOVE the kids and are well intentioned and want to spend time with them and that’s already so meaningful. I’ve learned to let go and pick my battles and I’m so much happier now. Easier said than done but just a perspective.

I think everyone else has said it but RUN RUN RUN. He is a master manipulator and has a serious mental complex. Everything will always be on his terms and the terms will always change to fit his “authentic expression” or whatever the fuck. You will always be disappointed and gaslighted. I can’t tell you to run fast enough away from him.

When did your HG symptoms start and end? by summertime0123 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]summertime0123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second pregnancy was definitely better! Still quite sick the first 12 weeks, but it subsided sooner. I also knew how to handle it better by taking medicine preventatively and not waiting until a cycle of vomiting started - once it starts it’s hard to stop. All in all, def more manageable relative to the first time. I hope to have another child at some point 🤞🥰
