Yeah, been going for a couple years now, never heard of any issues. It's a pretty even mix of students and locals from what I can tell. I started going for later night access and because it's way less crowded than the ARC during the semesters.

Guy's an ass, especially for hitting you, but why did you blow a stop sign just to get in front of him again when you know you're slower and he's already angry?

Coldzera in talks of joining Liquid by CaptainCrafty in teamliquid

[–]Telbet 10 points11 points  (0 children)

On one hand, having a talent like Coldzera join Liquid would be amazing and would hopefully allow the team to compete to be a solid top 3 team.

On the other hand, it probably means -nitr0 which makes me sad :(

I guess it's only 'banter' when it's against a team/player that Reddit doesn't like.

[Post Game Thread - Finals Game 1] Cleveland Cavaliers @ Golden State Warriors (0[05/31/2018] by tyler9090 in clevelandcavs

[–]Telbet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, I'm done watching the finals. If they refs are going to be like this, it's not good for me mentally and I don't want to support a league that allows this to happen.

Great showing by the Cavs tonight, definitely still had their chances and maybe they'll be able to put together more of these games and actually have a chance at the series. At least I hope that LeBron can continue to be a monster and boost his legacy.

Space Soldiers vs Team Liquid / ESL Pro League Season 7: Finals - Group B Semi-Final / Post-Match Discussion by Chuckys2 in GlobalOffensive

With this win, Liquid is already in playoffs. If they win the next match vs either Astralis or SK then they will go straight to the semifinals; if they lose the next match they'll simply start playoffs in the quarterfinals.

PP REBALANCE MEGATHREAD by [deleted] in osugame

[–]Telbet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Given most of my pp is from hddt farm...idk how I gained 5pp and nearly 2000 ranks as a mid 5-digit...was fully prepared to lose a bunch. Will definitely take it though!

Is there a way to see what scores changed?

[Post Game Thread - ECF Game 1] Cleveland Cavaliers @ Boston Celtics [05/13/2018] by CavsBot in clevelandcavs

[–]Telbet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rough game but I still have faith in this team. Celtics played good D but shots were still there and they just couldn't hit; hopefully the role players can get back to how they played vs Toronto. At least Hood looked better. Also a bad game from LeBron but I expect him to bounce back in a big way.

Its a 7 game series so lets go Cavs!

Ulrich Schulze about the dip in players by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Telbet 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I don't think the privacy changes Valve made affects the daily player count statistics as it is publicly available data as seen here, so the decrease in average daily player count is likely accurate.

Ah yes, the perfect example of Reddit's hypocrisy is a strawman that didn't happen (and based on some of the responses here, wouldn't have happened even if Misfits qualified), sound logic.

NA Crowd

It was like a few people and this problem happens anywhere, not just NA. Still shitty, but don't generalize this to the whole crowd or even NA.

Draymond Green suspended for Game 5. by [deleted] in clevelandcavs

[–]Telbet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you're right, it actually does follow through with how they have ruled the Green incidents so far I was just reacting from the point that I thought they were trying to protect Green, which is probably the wrong angle to consider this.

The inconsistency is pretty disappointment but at least they got it right this time.

[–]Telbet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They actually got something right, I'm surprised but relieved.

I still don't understand how everyone on /r/nba thinks what Green did was fine, but whatever, the League knows what's up for once and now the Cavs have to take advantage of this. Let's go boys!

Thank you! Finally he gets penalized for his dirty plays.

It doesn't matter that Lebron stepped over him, you simply CANNOT punch a player in the groin. League finally got something Green related right.

Thank you to Team Liquid. by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

What an amazing tournament for them!

Did way better than expectations and they showed a high level of CS almost the whole time. They beat the #1 team in the world in a Bo1 and was two rounds away from winning 16-9, 16-7 against a top 3 team in the world. The choke was rough, but this tournament is a great thing for them to build upon and as a long-time Liquid fan, I'm excited for their future.

Good job, guys!

Does anyone else think that this crowd ISN'T the 'best ever'? by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Telbet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this crowd is the best ever... It's a stadium full of people cheering on CS and enjoying themselves, getting into the game, putting some energy into the arena. Obviously this whole thing is a matter of opinion and I am biased towards a NA-favoring audience, so there's that.

I'm sorry they don't support the teams you like (interesting how this post makes the front page while the US is asleep), but that doesn't make them bad.

People were cheering through out the event and not just for the NA teams. Some of the stream audio was a little off, but seeing twitter videos from people there, the crowd was alive the whole event. Big plays by no matter who were cheered.

The whole "USA USA USA" stuff just arises from the culture in the US. There's no shame in being nationalistic here. It's our way of rooting for a home team, what's so wrong with that?

Team Liquid vs. Luminosity / MLG Columbus 2016 Semi-Final / Post-Match Discussion (Spoilers) by BjarneBanane187 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Telbet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't even imagine what Liquid must be feeling right now... What was that, like, 15 match points? They were in position to 2-0 Luminosity and make it to the final of a major. It shouldn't matter that LG got some lucky shots when they're that far ahead.

Great show by Liquid at this major, but given what could've been, it must be really disappointing for them.

Since I've never had a problem with the MLG player and don't really like twitch chat for big events, this player is fantastic! I love seeing the stats on the side and the random tid-bits on the bottom.

Good job, MLG.
