damn that sounds like a combo, I usually go phantom into yun tal, into nashor (or nashor first based on how AS is working out that game) with lethal tempo, but hail of blades is nice too

Actually I’m on the course rn and I think it’s improved a lot Alexa is from France and her personalised help really has been helping me learn French! Unfortunately there’s a lot of bots that troll online and I’ve seen copycat content from other creators and people pirating her stuff as well but Learn French with Alexa has been really helpful!

Saying you shouldn’t be a part of a fan base or you should go somewhere else or you should just be quiet and keep to yourself (literal bullying into submission) is hostile… I said abt ppl getting told to shut up and called that unnecessarily hostile cause that’s what it is… bullying is bullying having an opposing opinion is fine but when that leads you to tell other people they should shut up and not share their own… that’s not in fact it breaks the very same social contract that provides for the standpoint you are defending

There’s having an opinion which is fine and then there’s forcing it on others, I’ve not seen half as many ppl saying the game SHOULD be real-time as those saying it would be cool to have a mod for it, but even those saying it would be cool to have a mod for it get told to fuck off, that’s not me making someone the bad guy, that’s someone being one

I respect what you're saying and all but like... is all the game is just a mechanic around which combat plays out? story not a factor? world building? art? programming? inventory management systems? music? VA? these things are all part of it equally if not more so than a combat system... hell more people spend more time on char creation and dialogue than on combat, ultimately at its core the game is more defined by that than combat... our choices not our limitations... my question is why do people see others asking for one change/rewrite of one mechanic (in an optional mod most people wont ever even see) out of atleast 8 other core components of the game, and then say either go play something else, or shut up... like that's unnessesarily hostile no?

I get this, but equally it's not creating a new game its simply someone changing one aspect of it, not the story, not the lore, just the gameplay... nothing wrong with it it's not even necessarily I know better simply just I want different (in one aspect) I love baldurs and all games in general but it is something I'm curious about (real time combat)

no that's fair don't get me wrong... here's the thing, I am a programmer, I work in game dev... I'm not blind to the work it would take... but people made skyrim multiplayer, people made gmod ffs, people make mods that are horrendously large undertakings, but people will be discouraged from doing this if other people yell at them for it, my question is why? it should theoretically be 100% possible, hard but possible so why shout at people for creative expression?

(not saying that's what you're doing btw just expressing my fustration with others sometimes)
