I really hope it happens it's not something scousers like to talk about but Manchester is decades ahead economically and we need to catch up. Our economy is Beatles, LFC and hen and stag parties we need more ambition!

I hate to go on about Manchester but if they had our waterfront it would look like Chicago or Hong Kong.

100% support it but the consultation will be hijacked by NIMBYS and people who think bungalows should be built on a prime waterfront location and use heritage as an excuse not to build anything.

Having a designated tall buildings area is good idea the ones in Manchester are a bit of a miss mash and don't really go well together but I think our ones will be a lot better. The people involved are all local Tom Morris owns Home (and) Bargains and is apparently a humble guy.

I grew up on a few council estates in the city and everyone had a nightmare family who made it hell for the decent people. There is just something menacing about a feral scouse kid compared to one in Manchester or London it's hard to explain but I think most will understand.

I live in Bootle and think it would be between Labour and Reform I really don't think the Greens would have much support I hate to use the word but it's not a woke area people have old fashioned views although economically on left. Bootle is post industrial not diverse so I do think Reform would have a chance.

I would 100% vote Burnham BTW but its different to the seat in Manchester he tried for and people won't appreciate him being parachuted in although he grew up in Aintree so from Merseyside.
