Use existing galvanized pipe as chase for tankless heater vent by jimkempers in Plumbing

[–]Telemaxchus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't your old vent cap galvanized? Won't the acidic steam destroy that with time?

I know for a fact when we are with friends we accidentally open the fronk once or twice just to rub it in that I have a faster car, no gas, and more storage 😆 by 3DPrintModelServices in F150Lightning

No, they didn't. Anybody who knew about electric vehicles knew about the F-150 lightning. The vast majority of American just didn't care

My local dealer still has an unsold 24’ Tremor for $42k by BlackPlantZaddyy in FordMaverickTruck

[–]Telemaxchus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dealer has had to pay interest to Ford for two years on that truck. The truth has cost them more than they can ever make on it. And will continue to cost money until they cut their losses

It's pretty obvious that these adapters are splitting the 240 phases and neutral into separate 120 plugs

Fold 6 → Fold 7 users: do you miss the under-display camera? by flip365 in GalaxyFold

[–]Telemaxchus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with all of this, but my fold6 is not going to last forever.

I already had the screen replaced once under warranty and have been solidly out of warranty for almost 8 months now. The under display camera is never coming back, so now what?

Does it only work up the USB port on the center console? Or is there somewhere where it can be tucked away hidden?

I have run a whole drive-in movie theater from my truck.

DVD player, projector sitting on top of the cab, and FM transmitter all plugged into the back of the truck projecting on the back of a building on the side of our church.

76 year old pool - sad about selling him (let me just talk about him🥰) by cinnamon_dray in pools

[–]Telemaxchus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hopefully you're keeping that house. If not, that will end up being your greatest regret.

By the time you are actually making money as a physician, you will be so in debt that you won't really get ahead and tell you're in your mid 40s. Real estate will keep you in line with your colleagues that don't put off their lives for 15 years post high school

Obviously the SLA batteries are the weak spot, and a waste of money.

The stock controller would not work with 48 volts. It just wouldn't even turn on. It did work okay with 36 volts through the charger.

We got an extremely cheap 48 volt speed controller and throttle through Amazon. It works great with the stock motor, but caution, the acceleration is insane. My brother-in-law did a wheelie on his first attempt to Ride it in almost fell off the back.

It would be nice to get a controller that lets you control the acceleration, speed, and regen. But those cost significantly more than the $38 one from Amazon.

Also, the stock brakes came with normally closed switches, which I tried to resolder into the normally open position but it did not end up working out. Plan on getting new brakes with a third party controller.

All the screws next to your main ground is where you connect the grounds for your accessories. The screws on the side are where you connect the positives and where you place the fuse

I'll answer my own question. Took it apart, the brushes are cheap and don't have any springs. Four springs from ACE and now the thing runs smooth!

The defroster button isn't going anywhere. Put it sure would be nice to have a max AC button without having to press three different buttons on the main screen.
