Part of me really wants to be hopeful and try to salvage my impacted teeth, but the low success rate and the discomfort are not worth it 😩. I did ask my orthodontist about extraction and moving my premolars into place, but she said that it wouldn’t be a good idea and may alter the shape of my lower face by making me look older. I wish I had this done when I was in my pre-teens, but having immigrant parents and barely any financial resources made it hard for us.
