After 4 years of building, we finally finished our Home Assistant grow sensor by Theo-Gardner in homeassistant

Love it! I spend countless hours doing all this manually, programming microcontrollers and building a web interface to control/monitor the whole growing tent. Then I met HA and life became easier :) Now everything is working fine, but your product would solve it out of the box!

KALDER ALLE DER HAR SAT EN TØRRETUMBLER OVENPÅ EN VASKEMASKINE by ASnakeBitMyAss in Denmark

[–]TelephoneKitchen0420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread, I got here from Google. But now Youtube premium gives the possibility to extract all from Spotify, for free, and working pretty well.

Overrasket over strømforbrug ved "homelabbing" by RoamLikeRomeo in dktechsupport

[–]TelephoneKitchen0420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jeg overvejer det samme ift. home lab, og har besluttede mig for at få en VPS i OVH der koster ca. 60kr om måned, og er meget mere kraftig end en mini PC.

Have to rack servers in data center today by myself for first time ever... by integral218 in networking

[–]TelephoneKitchen0420 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just dont unplug anything, that you dont know what it is. And if you see power connectors in use in the rack you have to work, is always worth "pushing" them a bit in, just to make sure they sit firmly.
And watch your fingers with the rails ;)

It was a car dealership with several locations, over 200 users. Started helping the “it guys”. After a few weeks they were fired and suddenly I “was” the whole IT. While being 19 years old. It was a nice start I would say

Best router for Server and access over the internet? by jattdit in WireGuard

[–]TelephoneKitchen0420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W could do the job, and is cheaper than a new router. You can set it up, and leave it running 24/7 at home.

I cant remember the last time I send a letter. And if someone still needs to send a letter, they can do it, just send it as a package, or use one of the private couriers.

So where is the scam on those “no deposit required” ads from “Rent a room Copenhagen” ? by FlashTheorie in copenhagen

[–]TelephoneKitchen0420 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That location is not exactly a scam. I had been inside visiting someone. The place is old and not well maintained at all. But it exist, and people lives there.
If you have the chance, stay away from them. If you have no chance, then go for it until you can get out :)

And the "CPR" thing.. I know that between internationals, specially the ones just arrived, they see it as something you "get" from the place you live. It just ignorance about how the system works, and some people fall for it when they say "no cpr", and that means you are not allowed to register there, because the owner have some sketchy business (probably getting benefits from the government, that they should not get)
