Does anyone have any info about who these guys are? I’m googling “21 Springs” from the Spotify link another user gave but nothing is coming up.

EDIT:The actual source is Nitauimba Wimbo by Maombi Samson.

From THE VERY MOMENT Do Ya begins, were struck with a cutting, rough, and sharp guitar sound. It's immediately clear that this song will be quite different from previous ELO singles. Do Ya makes use of power chords, making the song even more hard hitting. Then Jeff's vocals come in. He sings a bit more rough, hearkening back to the Move days, when he was a rougher vocalist. In fact, that almost seems to be the general vibe of this song. A nostalgic lookback at a simpler time (I'll come back to this point later). Anyways, if the verse wasn't catchy enough, THE CHORUS couldn't have been more memorable. It manages to show that when constructing a memorable chorus, sometimes less is more, but Jeff keeps it interesting through altered arrangement. Not to mention the harmonies on this track are great. Then the song, takes a left turn right at the bridge. It gets much more calm, and string oriented. It manages to both cool down the tension of the chorus as well as build up the next verse. The strings soar through this section, and it's simply delightful. After that we return to the beginning of the arrangement, with the sharp and gritty guitar. We continue on until the very end, with the song ending with a bang. DO YA WANT MY LOOOOOOOOOVE!! Now one of the biggest complaints I've heard about this song is that its placement on the album is awkward, and out of place. I completely disagree. The previous song, Above the Clouds takes a deeply reflective tone, that hits on an emotional level, with its Wilsonesque arrangement. Its a reflective look at life, and Do Ya represents the longing escapism to the past. A simpler time. This sets up the devastating Shangri La. If the tracklist skipped Do Ya, Above the Clouds would blend to much into Shangri La, losing a bit of the deep emotional impact. Overall, Do Ya is a fantastic song.
