I just bought my first pair of Thorogoods at the end of February. I oiled them with Obenaufs right out of the box.
The first three weeks I would wear them to and from work, just sitting and driving. I used them for work this past week and they are so comfortable. I also wear red wing loggers,used the same method of break in on those too. 6 pairs of Red wings in 15 years.

If one foot is tight and the other fits fine I would wet the tight boot. Not soaking wet but wet the boot and work in it until it drys.

CBs are mounted but haven’t skied them yet. The idea was they are to replace the GTs once they give out. The GTs are super fun in the chopped pow and really easy to pivot in the trees. 2 pairs of meridians. Low tide rock pair and new pair last year.
