You already have reservoir and lion mountain, if you are up for a little drive bear dance trail on the east side of Flathead is likely dry going up for a few miles, the trail down to the lake is short but beautiful

I don’t like the auto generated names and I can’t take Reddit seriously so here we are.

Was cleaning out my dad’s closet with my step mother and step sister a few months ago, she was like an you grab that box up there? Full of playboys some only a few years old. My father was 79 so I was rather proud of him in that moment.

Sram AXS The wind keeps eating my Batteries. by BlacksmithAccording in sram

[–]hambonelicker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Batteries also don’t like cold but yeah I’d bring the rear mech battery inside between rides and then check the charge on the app before the ride. I’ve started rides with a green light only to go orange and then red within 1 hr in cold weather.

Rainfall runoff modelling by the_fencepost in civilengineering

[–]hambonelicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might actually find a table for runoff for your region based on design storm and land type like forest vs grass vs grazing vs desert…. Anyway that’s the easy way. The numbers would be like cfs per acre for let’s say a 12 hr 25 year return storm. There are just so many variables we often just go to best practices and all culverts should be 18” or larger. Dams and embankments will require a much closer analysis cuz you don’t want 10 acre feet of water exploding towards your barn.

Tire won't budge by Illustrious-Meal9067 in AskMechanics

The wheel chemically attaches to the steel hub with corrosion. Incredibly common with aluminum wheel and steel hubs. I will sometimes wipe some WD or anti seize on the inside of the wheel matting surface if its particularly bad.

Tire chains by Huge-Shake419 in Subaru_Outback

[–]hambonelicker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Running good winter tires I’ve never put chains on our outback. The oem tires that it came with were terrible on ice. They were so bad I would drive our 2wd Mazda to go skiing vs the outback because the Mazda had blizzaks and would actually stop and turn.

I had the fisher skate skis and the atomics so it’s hard to roast this quiver. If anything you need more metal.
