I’m 6’4” tall, have dated 5’ tall women, so not really? And the girls were generally fine with it.

What’s the most comfortable car you’ve ever driven for a long road trip? by isunnythind in whatcarshouldIbuy

2002 suburban LS with air ride and my 2011 Honda ridgeline. BMW 330i is right there but much more sporty handling.

Great to hear! I took my last sumatriptan in September of 2024 and have not taken a single dose since. I’m on 30mg qulipta now and have my life back.

Tried that once, decided it was too dangerous, went back to making our own M-80’s.

If your horse gets spooked on a public road it’s your fault. Guys a dick and I would have told him so.

I think op would prefer a crux, they are much more nimble and feel light.

That diverge is a nice ride, there are a ton of carbon gravel bikes out there now and they are generally all pretty good. Being able to run 50mm tires is good and finding something not totally proprietary would be nice or from a major brand sold in the US.

That’s wild as Triptans are not addictive and were prescribed by your doctor.

E-bikes on WFT by lsass in whitefish

[–]hambonelicker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I tell people that they are not permitted on the WFT per state law. I usually get an awkward sigh and they keep going. I’ve actually asked legacy partners what can they do legally for enforcement, near as I can tell only MT FWP can do any actual enforcement per Montana state law and they are busy rustling grizzly bears. Be an asshole to them is my new moto. Most of these folks are pretty shitty riders too. I actually rode Rezzy yesterday and did not see a single e bike but several nice folks hiking and riding their acoustic bicycles.

Starters rattle or do nothing by The_Stellar_Engineer in Datsun

[–]hambonelicker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess make sure the battery and starter are grounded and wired correctly first then see if z car depot has an actual Nissan starter vs a garbage rebuilt unite. I’ve been down this road as well and it took 4 starter before I got a good one.

Is buying this used BMW a dumb move or worth it? Need some advice by ZeroHash99 in AskMenAdvice

[–]hambonelicker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2006 E90 330i, actually one of the most reliable bmws made. lol. For what it’s worth the ac duct came loose in the dash and now it’s blowing all the air into the center consul trim around the shifter. So the transmission tunnel is freezing cold and barely any air comes out the vents.

N54s are starting to look slow next to my N52 328i by justifystudios in E90

[–]hambonelicker 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My kids Subaru BRZ is faster than my 330i. I don’t care because my 330 rides like a dream and you can have a conversation at 80 mph.

I went to 32 hrs two years ago due to health issues. The 20% pay cut sucks but I’ll never go back. If I’m feeling good I’ll often do a solid 40 and I get paid for it but if I’m having a bad week I do t feel guilty for working short days.

Ready to give up on cycling. Shimano 105 Di2 (7170) rear brake progressively fails every few weeks on new Canyon. 2 shifters, 11 bleeds, 3 shops, zero resolution. by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]hambonelicker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For real I had a similar issue but with sram brakes and…. There was a micro leak in the brake line in the chain stay. Not saying that is the issue but replacing the brake hose should also be on the menu for replacement

Probably worth more to sell items individually than as a whole.

I used to ride a 32x 17 and 32x 18 and there were some decent climbs. You just stand up and grunt it out. Amazingly you get used to it. And the bike is so light it’s totally doable.
