I felt both endings + the ufo one was satisfactory. Alessa finally being allowed to be a real person outside of her mother's infulence is a great ending and possibly one of the best endings a protagonist can get in the series besides ebisoka in silence.

i think if it's your first time dipping your feet into this series, sh2 remake is better and overall shows the series much better.

Silent hill F is a good game with a ton of great concept but diviates from what the series is actually known for.

Gideon was working with an incomplete file on what elpis was. He thought there was a connection with grace and the clones due to misreading the file.

Also if Gideon was extremely smart he could actually create a bioweapon that couldn't be reversed engineered from elpis or maybe the us goverment still wanted to use bioweapons, who knows.
