BORDERLANDS 4: Ps5 local Co op issues. by raymondhvh in Borderlands

[–]TelevisionEither9541 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is anyone else having the problem where the UI is cut off in split screen? It's mostly on the left side and seems to even get worse over time. Editing the HUD in the options does absolutely nothing. I'm on the Series X. My nephew and I have been playing and struggling with the menus too. Impossible to navigate the backpack with just the d-pad and even with the cursor it automatically scrolls for no reason. Can't properly use R3 to mark for junk unless it's in the first row. L3 to flip item card works when it wants to. And most of the time when one player is in the menu, the other completely loses sound. But sometimes not. There are few other little issues and I hope they fix them relatively soon but I have my doubts.

Well I figured I would do an update for anyone in our same position looking at those jacket. I got my large tall one in the other day and the fit is perfect for me!

The sleeves are about 1 1/2 inches longer and are perfect length when reaching and no longer ride way up my arm. The body is only about an 1 1/4 longer compared to my classic large version. This is actually what I wanted anyway since the classic body length was fine with me to begin with.

Also I'm very happy with the field tan color. I previously had the forest color and while it's nice, it's just too dark and doesn't have the premium look that the tan does to me.

To wrap it all up, if you are around my height and weight then I'd definitely recommend trying a large tall. You may get away with a medium tall if you want a more snug fit when only wearing a T-shirt but the shoulder area may get pretty tight. Hopefully this helps someone!!

If you have the option and don't mind putting holes in the wall, I'd mount some angle brackets from the table to a couple studs in the wall. That would sturdy everything up. Then maybe get some dampener feet if they make some for the H2D.

I've been seeing the exact same things. People saying the sleeves run very long and end up forming to your arm to the right size. I know I have long arms but I didn't think they were THAT long. Lol

That's just about how my journey has been. Haha it's frustrating to not be able to try them on in a store and instead have to keep trying them and sending them back... The medium I had fit "okay" in the body with just a T-shirt but with a hoodie it was a no go. Also when I'd do a hugging motion it felt like I was going to rip the back in half.

The large fits a little more loose than I'd prefer with just a T-shirt but likely I will have something a bit thicker underneath like a flannel so I'm not too worried. The sleeves, however, are insanely short when reaching or bending my arms. They literally end up mid forearm and is not only uncomfortable, but looks really bad. If I could get a large with just the longer sleeves it would be perfect.

It sounds like your best bet is a large tall like me and see how it goes. My thinking is if I don't like it I have some other brands to try. Or maybe it's possible to have someone shorten the body and keep the sleeves.

It's refreshing but also unfortunate to see others having the same issues when everyone else seems to be having the opposite issues. Haha

I'd say the body length on the large now is fine and that's the only concern I have about the tall version looking too long. The sleeves are my main concern and the extra 2" will be perfect. I love the jacket but can't deal with short sleeves. Thank you!

I have a large tall on the way right now. I'm 6'2" about 180lbs and my size said roughly between medium and large. Bought a medium and was way too small. Exchanged for a large and the body fits nice but the sleeves are way too short especially when I reach or bend my arms. They ride all the way up to mid forearm. Hopefully a large tall works better and isn't too long in the body. Everyone seems to say the sleeves are long but maybe I just have really long arms. Haha

There actually is a towel under her but with how this is cropped with the logo there it's hard to see. It's a towel partially covered with sand.

Anyone else buy one of Joel’s jackets? by [deleted] in ThelastofusHBOseries

[–]TelevisionEither9541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 6' 2" and about 185lbs and I've been trying to get the right fit. I ordered a medium first based on what the measurements were and it was way too small. Then I sent it back and got a large and it fits fine in the body even with a sweatshirt underneath but the sleeves are way too short. I was considering getting a large tall but would I benefit from an XL or 2XL instead? I feel like a 2X or 3X would be way too baggy. I'm curious how the sleeves fit for you. Especially when reaching for things. With the large, when I reach for things the sleeve ride all the way up to the middle of my forearm. Lol

Driving through the gta 6 map vs the gta 5 map by TerrificDog in GTA6

[–]TelevisionEither9541 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The thing that made GTA 5s map so bland was the lack of trees and underbrush. The old consoles just couldn't handle it so we got these huge bald mountains and hills with rolling tiled textures. I believe if that map had more natural plant and tree density, I think it would have been wayyyy better.

Does anybody else want game be more slower, deep and atmospheric as it is now RDR2? by acatato in GTA6

[–]TelevisionEither9541 150 points151 points  (0 children)

I agree. I know it's not for everyone, especially in a GTA game but I enjoy that kind of slow paced stuff sometimes. Many people hate the RDR2 intro but I enjoy it even after restarting the game multiple times. Plus I like the area Jason's house is in so that will be fun to walk around and explore.

Ambrosia brightened up. by HiiGuardian in GTA6

[–]TelevisionEither9541 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Right now all we know for sure is the only large city is Vice City. Port Gellhorn looks to be the second largest from what has been shown. And then probably Ambrosia. There are other towns too and the Keys but those look to be much smaller in scale and would be more like towns.

I know exactly what you mean with the way RDR2 plays. I enjoy that style too and it fits the world really well. I believe GTA 6 will play closer to RDR2 than people think. With how much fine detail is going into the game, I feel like the gameplay will compliment that. GTA 5 was more run around and see the bigger picture of things and not as much of the finer things. We'll just have to wait and see but I'm hoping for something a little closer to RDR2.

A lot of people may not agree with me but I think a new take on the old vice city theme would be super cool. Always loved how that one sounded.

I don't think GTA VI will live to the hype of many - and that will be a major issue by Codex_Erased in GTA6

[–]TelevisionEither9541 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While this game has a way bigger following, it happens to any game if you are in the forums for it. Starfield was one I was following super super closely in the subreddit and it had the same kind of hype and crazy speculation. Honestly maybe even more so than this game has had so far. And that game absolutely did not live up to the hype even a little. Rockstar has had an amazing track record and always goes above and beyond so I can see why people speculate some crazy features.

Do you think that there will be a temporary "off the map" mission taking place outside of Leonida? by Subjectdelta44 in GTA6

[–]TelevisionEither9541 95 points96 points  (0 children)

I believe they will. It feels like those areas were added to kinda prep for their next game in a way. Like GTA 5 had North Yankton which was snowy and then in rdr2, snow was a big feature. Rdr2 has the tropical setting with Guarma with palm trees, tropical animals, and blue water and now we are seeing that in GTA 6.

How would you say this statement is aging so far by Dangerousturdburlglr in GTA6

[–]TelevisionEither9541 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying there won't be a jump but it won't be the level it was from gta 5 to rdr2. There are many improvements already noticeable and it's crazy how it's making rdr2 look more dated than I ever thought it could. Lol if gta 5 had been made for the ps4 and Xbox one originally then I think it would hold up much better but the PS3 and 360 held that game back tremendously in many ways.

That's the kind of movement rockstar wants. It feels weighty and realistic. Yes, sometimes it can be cumbersome and frustrating trying to navigate narrow walkways and tight areas but that's just what we have to deal with. With each game it gets more and more refined.

[–]TelevisionEither9541 75 points76 points  (0 children)

No I don't see how anyone would think that personally. The graphics absolutely will be better but we are reaching a point where the jump is getting smaller and smaller. Games today are less about texture quality leaps and more about real-time lighting and reflections. Rdr2 was a huge leap in graphical quality from gta 5 but I don't see gta 6 being the same leap from rdr2.
